Surprisingly Good, December 30, 2010

I'm not a big fan of this kind of music in general; being mostly into '70's & 80's punk, 80's pop, alternative rock, and big beat techno. The song "Christmas Island" was discovered in the credits of the "Adventure Time" cartoon. It is a fun, light hearted song that puts a smile on my face and kids love. It was a pleasant surprise to find the rest of the album to be better and deeper, with smooth, easy tones, a great beat, and a nostalgic feel.
