From the incredible songwriting of Jason Evigan to the collaboration and tight performances of Spencer, Christian, Danny, and TJ - this album gives you an idea of what these guys are capable of.
Having seen them perform live, I know that their live show is explosive and leaves you wanting more. I expected great things from this first album, and it has not disappointed me. They open the album the same way they open many live shows - with a searing guitar riff leading into Backlit Medley. It gets your attention and holds it for three and a half minutes. By the end, you just want to hear the rest. The quality of the album is incredible. It's so silky smooth and radio ready. While its easily accessible to a wide audience, they still manage to really rock out on several tracks. "Take Me Home" is the live anthem and their long time fan favorite. It seems the obvious choice for a first single, yet doesn't define just what the band is capable of. It will take a few more singles to really reach out to the rest of their growing audience. 4 years in the making, and you are just now seeing them break out. Hopefully this is just a hint of whats to come.

I was fortunate enough to catch one of their songs on the radio which made me buy the entire album digitally. This is the first time in the 3 years I have had an ipod that I have ever purchased an entire CD without second guessing - I was not disappointed. This band is amazing! Jason Evigan puts his heart and soul into every single song and leaves you wanting more. The music is brilliantly composed and you can't help but blast your stereo and rock out!! I STRONGLY recommend this album - EVERY SONG is worth the money!

After Midnight Project is made up of Jason Evigan, Christian Meadows, Spencer Bastian, Danny Morris, and TJ Armstrong. A Los Angeles/Hollywood band that obtained a strong following while performing on the Sunset Strip.
The group's sound is a mixture rock/pop/acoustic. AMP's music is as diverse as the arists that influenced them. Strong vocals/lyrics, guitars, bass, and drums oh my!!! Make no mistake, they are a rock band that will have you singing in your car and performing air guitar. Can't say enough about After Midnight Project. Five Stars.

This album is insane! Sick lyrics, kickin bass, drums and guitar. And who could forget those amazing vocals? This band will pump you up when you're feeling flat and get you jamming while you're standing still!

After Midnight Project's Let's Build Something To Break is a great album. Their blend of beats and guitar riffs combined with Jason's vocals pulls you right in to the lyrics and the music. They've really made an impression on the music industry with this cd.

Amazing rock record. If you like alternative rock and supporting new bands, this is the one.
Saw the band on the Warped Tour and they kill live. 5 stars from me. One of the best records I've heard this year. Hard rock and pop mashed together. Check them out.

After hearing just snippets of this album I was excited to get the whole thing and am not disappointed at all. Great sound, lyrics, melody! Great bands like this are hard to find.

Ever since I heard "Take Me Home" at the end of the video game Prey I was into After Midnight Project. I got their 5 song EP off itunes and I really liked every song. I just randomly realized yesterday that After Midnight Project had put an album out a few months ago, so I quick went out and got it. Overall, although the album is alright, I am disappointed because it seems like their sound has changed from what I really liked about it before. There are moments when that sound comes through but overall something sounds different about their mood. "More to Live For" is an absolutely horrible song and it sounds like immitation Fall Out Boy garbage. There are some good songs, "Fighting My Way Back" is the one example of something different that I really like with the piano melody. Most of their songs unfortunately sound generic with moments of brilliance shining through every once in a while. Not a bad album, but not up to my expectations either. Their 5 song EP was one of the few things on my ipod I would consistantly listen to and go back to, so having this album turn out the way it did is a major bummer. Some good songs, some generic songs, and 1 horrible song. Hopefully their next album will go back to what to their previous, better sound.
