Cookie is planning a party! There's a lot to do--make invitations, shop, clean the house, and cook. But Cookie's favorite time is when all of his Sesame Street friends are seated at the table and he says, "Let's eat!"

Cookie Monster at His Best!,
By
This review is from: Let's Eat (Sesame Street (Dalmatian Press)) (Paperback)
Cookie Monster is going to have a party and he takes us through all you must do to get ready and have a party. The book teaches children all the polite things one does before and during a party. My favorite page is the page where he sets the table and the picture illustrates the correct way to set a place setting. The books also shows a picture of Cookie Monster and all his friends cleaning up and doing dishes after dinner. It's nice to let kids know that they too can help with clean-up. This is a cute little book with bright illustrations that kids will love.

Great story, grammar not the best for pre-readers,

The story of Cookie Monster planning a turkey dinner is fantastic and our 3 year old LOVES it. It's very fun to read even for mom and dad! My only complaint is that the book is written in Cookie Monster-ese. For example, instead of saying "I want to cook a dinner, I need some help from you", this book says "Me want to cook a dinner, me need some help from you". We just change the words to speak the sentence correctly and everyone ends up happy!

My little girl loves this book! This book features Cookie Monster as he prepares for a dinner party for some of his friends. The story is told in rhyme and it's full of pictures of Sesame Street characters. There are a few "interactive" parts whre Cookie Monster addresses the reader. This is destined to become a quick favorite.
