Excellent remastering job!

I asked someone to copy the cd for me into a cdr and it was the cdr copy which I was able to import into my iPod via itunes.

This is without doubt their best recording. Forget their "Best of..." album, because their smash hit "Souvenirs" fades away so painfully. The first four songs in this album (which comprised Side A in the record)blend into each other effortlessly, and thus should really be played continuously. No ifs or buts about that! I have waited for this album to be released in CD format for a very long time, and I was ecstatic to see it in Amazon, of course. This album is one of the best the disco era of the 70s produced-leave it to the French! This CD hops!

One of the Top 10 disco albums from the Disco era. Incredibly uplifting, celebratory and exuberant.

This review is of the deluxe 2-CD Fly Away Special Edition release from the Disco Recharge label, not the long-in-existence CD from Hot Productions, which any review dated prior to this one references. For some inexplicable reason Amazon blithely transfers reviews of previous versions to new, updated releases. Very frustrating. Why, oh why, Amazon? Why, oh why?

a real nice cd of this group, but the one was sent to me is a home made cd, the 4 songs of side a and the 3 ones of side b in the original lp were blended, and this edition has all the songs separated, as if it were recorded in track at once mode, moreover, the print of the disc itself doesn't look original, looks as if it was printed with a thermal printer, instead of silkscreening method. and guess what the cd is a cdr one not a pressed one .
too bad HOT PRODUCTIONS is making this kind of things
however the sound quality is real good

One of the best Disco groups from the 70's. Club dance favorites include Souvenirs and Fly away, often mixed together. Those who liked to hustle would love this album. The other songs include musical rythums and samples from the other parts of the world, such as Tahiti, Tahiti. These songs bring you there and transcends the listner to a mild ecstacy. I recommend this CD for those who grew up in through the 70's Disco club scene.

This is one of the better complete albums of the disco era and Souveniers is ne of the all time great disco songs. However... if anybody out there (like me) owned the original album you know that the songs on Side 1 blended from one to the next. On the CD version, there are breaks between each song unfortunately, and this somehow manages to slightly throw off the complete mood of the original side.
This is a minor thing though and yyet this does remain a classic disco album. Get this one now before you are not able to anymore; it is starting to look like this is going to become out of print!

If listening to this album doesn't make you break out in a hot sweat, and suddenly smell a dirty carpet reeking of spilled beer, leather soaked in perspiration, and empty popper vials in a filthy restroom, then you probably missed out completely on the party scene described by Randy Shilts in his book "And The Band Played On" in the "Before and After" section.

This is the second time I've bought this CD. I bought it about 5 years ago and the tracks were all separated and ruined the experience I recalled from the original album version I owned way back when. I believe I ended up giving the cd away. After much thought I wanted to hear it again and yyaaayyyyyyy on this new cd the songs on each side are blended as the album was. Yayyyyyyy !!!!!!

Another classic that will keep you dancing forever. Good job work on the cd and all the added tracks are a plus. Couldn't find them on vinyl but on cd a blast.
