a tool kit for creating really awesome family outings from the planning stages to follow-up activities. (The Hamilton Spectator)

About the Author

Candace Weisner is an avid outings enthusiast with a university degree in Recreation Administration. She has been developing programs for children and families for more than fifteen years, and she is a popular writer and workshop leader on families and recreation.

After a misspent youth on more than a few of Canada's northerly air force bases, Terry Leonard moved to central Alberta and took up graphic art and design. "It was a way," he explains,"to stimulate the circulation in my fingers." He is presently at work on an art project which, if it succeeds, will completely revolutionize the prairie art scene. Though he is unable to disclose much at this time, he says it involves cold beer, a moose, snowballs stockpiled in the refrigerator and visiting friends
