1.0 out of 5 stars The most ridiculous "wedding" song EVER
This is probably the most overplayed, worst written, and most ill-conceived "wedding" song I've ever heard. With trite, lightweight lyrics like "Meet me at the altar, in your white dress (what, she'd wear RED?)...we ain't gettin' no younger, we might as well do this," I was left scratching my head and wondering "What woman would find THIS...

From the listenings of Simon Larano...Jagged Edge releases the wedding song of the year and years to come with "Let's Get Married", a song of their second album release, "J.E. Heartbreak". This CD single is perfect for those young couples in love, for those young teens who are hopeless romantics, and for any couple with feelings of true love in their hearts. This CD single brings you one of the best songs off Jagged Edge's new album, yet it only gives you a glimpse of their true talents. I would advise anyone with r&b and soul in their musical tastes to buy this CD. "Let's Get Married" is a wedding song, a love song, and one of those songs where people can just dream. Did you catch the video yet? It's as sweet as the song once you watch it all the way through. Many people will use this as their wedding song. This is without a doubt, one of my favorite songs of all time. Only 5 stars for the best!

This is the cd of the summer. It should be played at every wedding. The group sings very well. They are well put together and they get along with each other, besides; they are all handsome. They should keep singing such decadant, sophisticated songs with pure soul.

This is a truly beautiful song by JE. The single is hot. And I am sure the JE fans have already purchased the CD.

This is probably the most overplayed, worst written, and most ill-conceived "wedding" song I've ever heard. With trite, lightweight lyrics like "Meet me at the altar, in your white dress (what, she'd wear RED?)...we ain't gettin' no younger, we might as well do this," I was left scratching my head and wondering "What woman would find THIS remotely romantic?" Basically, they're saying "Oh, dang, I'm getting older. I've run around and, well, I might as well settle down with you. So, whasssup?" The one time I listened to the song (barely avoiding ripping off my ears in agony), I couldn't find one lyric stating how much the singer loved his woman. And here I thought that that lyric would be standard in a "wedding song". Maybe the group should take a listen to Kenny Lattimore's "For You" or sit down and listen to ANY Stevie Wonder album. Of course, the synth-heavy production drown the third-rate lyrics, ensuring that this pitiful excuse of a song somehow remains on top 40 R&B playlists. The only thing worse than the song itself is the fact that they put out dance remixes of this crap.
