5.0 out of 5 stars Educational and fun too!
A favorite! My 18 month old daughter received this for Christmas along with the Little People Zoo playset. The animals in the book look exactly like the plastic figures from the playset which helps her identify who is who. The flaps have withstood countless openings from little fingers without any tears. There are tons of flaps!

3.0 out of 5 stars A Cute Book
This book is filled with bright pictures and cheerful animals. Not one single flap in this book has been ripped (YET) - and my daughter is extremely destructive when it comes to pages in her books! I will say that for my daughter's age (under 18 months) there are just a few too many flaps, but I think once she gets just a tad bit older she will enjoy this book very much.

This review is from: Let's Go to the Zoo: Fisher-Price Little People (Board book)
A favorite! My 18 month old daughter received this for Christmas along with the Little People Zoo playset. The animals in the book look exactly like the plastic figures from the playset which helps her identify who is who. The flaps have withstood countless openings from little fingers without any tears. There are tons of flaps!

Each page of the book has a "theme." The first page teaches animal sounds, the second page colors, the third page counting, the fourth "actions/verbs" and the last page animal babies. The "action/verb" shows: lions rolling, zebras jumping, giraffes racing, elephants splashing, people riding, etc. There are also great illustrations in the background for your little one to point out. My daughter calls this her big zoo book to differentiate it from her many other zoo books.

5.0 out of 5 stars Awesome, January 13, 2011

I bought this book for my 2 year old son. He likes the Little People toys and dvds, and I thought he would enjoy this book. He absolutely LOVES it. There are a LOT of flaps for him to lift and explore the world of the Little People. The best thing is this is a durable book. Even my son, who is not the gentlest of all people when it comes to his books and toys, has not done any major damage to his book. Highly recommended for any child who likes the Little People, enjoys reading, and likes to lift the flap to discover new things.

5.0 out of 5 stars My 18-month daughter's favorite BEDTIME book!, September 16, 2008
This is a very fun book with lively pictures and colors, but somehow, it's become her favorite bedtime book! She can identify all of the animals, except the camel and prairie dogs. She would make a jumping movement (sitting on my lap) for the frog, blow raspberries for the elephant, say "ooh-ooh" for the monkey, and roar for the lion, tiger, and leopard. And she would say, "waaaaah" whenever she opens the flaps with the many animals hidden under. I'm trying to work on counting with her, but she'd rather keep flipping the flaps. Maybe it offers her so much stimulation that it tires her out for bed!

my two year old granddaughter loves to read and loves books with "doors". she has the little people farm, so this book is perfect. because of its large size, it makes it easy to hold while in her car seat. it keeps her occupied for quite a while.

Fun books, but the storylines are not outstanding. They are good for play time and learning time (colors, shapes, counting).

This review is from: Let's Go to the Zoo: Fisher-Price Little People (Board book)
My daughter is 14 months old now. This is by far her favorite book. I have been reading it to her since she was born, and she started lifting the flaps over 6 months ago.

This review is from: Let's Go to the Zoo: Fisher-Price Little People (Board book)
This book is so fun, like all of the LP lift the flap books. It is so colorful. My kids have all looked at these books hundreds of times. They are some of our favorites! So we gave this one to pur niece for her birthday, and she loves it too. Perfect for ages 0 - 5.

My 20-month-old daughter loves this book and will play for a long time looking at all the animals under the flaps. She engages in counting, naming colors and making animal sounds. This is great for a keeping her entertained on the airplane (although the book is quite bulky to carry)!
