It's more than just an Irish party, April 23, 2000
This review is from: Let's Have An Irish Party [VHS] (VHS Tape)
Let's Have An Irish Party is what Ireland is all about, fromit's hostess, Carmel Quinn, Ireland's first lady of song, to the greatIrish singer, Anna McGoldrick, to the step dancing of the Reagan Family, this video has it all. Plus there is a guest appearance from the Barley Bree, and Richie O'Shea, who gives a stiring performance of One Day At A Time, and Streets of New York. Highlights include McGoldrick in a very emotional rendition of James Connolly, and the Irish favorite, Danny Boy. Paddy Noonan makes sure the music blends in perfectly with this wonderful talent, and his accordian solos fit right in with the beautiful Irish paintings on the walls of Kennedy's Restaurant in New York, where this live party was shot. My wife and I have seen this video many, many times, and enjoy it just as much every time.

A great variety of Irish performances, March 17, 2003
This review is from: Let's Have An Irish Party [VHS] (VHS Tape)
From a medley of songs to introduce you to the singers to one bidding you farewell this tape is jam-packed with music of all sorts. You can hear Richie O'Shea sing the ballad Streets of New York, the beautiful Isle of Innisfree sung by Carmel Quinn, the young Reagan Family step dancers, the light-hearted Don't Bother to Knock and My Irish Molly, the Irish Favorite Danny Boy and even a solo bagpiper. Something for everyone.

This VHS was for my mother, she loved it, as did I, the singing was great and the dancing was wonderful. What an enjoyable VHS to watch.
