I thought, given the title, that this would be a great dance CD. Much to my surprise it is not. The mixes are boring and the music quality is bad. Save yourself some money and look elsewhere.

The 80's are back with this upbeat remixed and revamped CD of some of the decade's biggest hits. I simply love to listen to this compilation and boy what a motivator when it comes to the gym! Some of the stand out tracks are...

I am a hardcore fan of both techno and 80s music. When you combine the two, it's even better. Out of all the CDs I own that have the combination of the two, this is by far the best. While the songs have the upbeat music you can dance to, you are still able to discern the original songs. This album is a must for those that enjoy revamped 80s songs.

Don't expect the original artists, but this collection of covers is bangin'. You must close your eyes to experience the full effect of these tracks. There is no imagery necessary. Keep your eyes closed and OFF of the cover art. This just isn't necessary to sell this LP. Yet, if it gets you into the groove, so be it. Buy this and keep this disc on repeat.

I was disappointed in this CD. I was expecting the real versions of the songs, not cover band versions. I graduated in 1985 and I don't even recognize many of the songs. Now that I read back on other reviews, I wished I had reviewed them before I purchased.

These are not the original hits I hear on the radio or the danceclub. They are pretty much covers by faceless session vocalists. The music quality is not good either. Boys, there are much better compilations release by Megahit Records such as the "Gay Happening" & "Divas of Dance" series. Try those instead boys!

As a fan of the Euro NRG sound, it's a treat to see that one of the leaders of the sound (SAIFAM Italy) is paying tribute to the 80s with some great new productions. Mauro Farina & Factory Team are in top form here, as can be seen in NRG classics "It's A Sin," "Take On Me," and "Neverending Story" among others. It's nice to see that a remix of Divine made it on and a song I haven't heard in nearly 20 years "Vamos A La Playa" is great fun. Highly recommended!

When I heard that the label that released the Let's Hear It For The Boy CDs also put out a CD with dance mixes of hits from the 80s (my favorite decade), I had to get it. Great energy and great mixes of some of my favorite 80s hits ("Venus," "Neverending Story," "Respectable," "Like A Prayer." A must have!
