Jane Chapman is the illustrator of many acclaimed books for children, including ONE DUCK STUCK and ONE TINY TURTLE. Of LET'S GO! and LET'S BUILD!, she says, "I was inspired by my two-year-old son, who is obsessed with all things related to transportation. I wanted to do a book that had lots of detail in the pictures and not too much text, and in preparation I did a tractor-driving course and even drove an excavator! I ended up putting members of my family in the pictures - my husband is in there, driving various things."

Award winning illustrator Jane Chapman graduated from university with a First Class Honors degree in illustration. Working as both Jane Chapman and under her pseudonym Jack Tickle, she has had more than 75 titles published in more than 20 countries. Jane is perhaps best known for her illustrations in Karma Wilson's 'Bear' books, an internationally bestselling series which has garnered a string of awards including the Oppenheim Platinum Book Award for 'Bear Snores On'.

Jane's favorite thing to paint? SNOW!

Jane is married to children's author / illustrator Tim Warnes. They live in the South West of England with their 2 boys.

This is a fun book all my toddlers loved - so much so that they tore it apart from overuse. You get different sized pages that continually get longer as the vehicles get bigger - they really enjoy turning the pages and looking at the different cars. Anything by Jane Chapman is a great kids book.
