What a great book! This is definitly the best book I've seen on creative and Christian ideas to involve your family, friends and neighbors! Each holiday is listed with fun family traditions and ideas to involve your family and friends. What a perfect way to bring your family close together!

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Brainstorming Tool for Young Families, January 5, 2006

I'm not a big Gaither fan but when my kids were little I read this book and got all kinds of good ideas. For example, we interviewed our kids on tape every birthday. Now that they are teenagers, these tapes are a real treasure. I highly recommend this book for young families who want to start some cherished family traditions.

4.0 out of 5 stars Nice Book to Use Over the Years, November 3, 2007
This review is from: Let's Make a Memory (Paperback)
This book has some really nice, simple, and thoughtful ideas of how to "make memories" with your children. They range from making birthday flags for every family member to considerate things that you might do for a sick neighbor. Although I think it would be great if they added real pictures to exemplify various craft projects and recipes, they have some very useful ideas. One of my favorites is the "Red Birthday Cake" recipe under the birthday section. This cake is DELICIOUS!!! My husband, who doesn't get super excited about sweets, really liked it, too! That says something in my books. :) All in all, it's a nice book to have, but it does not contain very useful pictures (rather it has simple sketches).
