5.0 out of 5 stars Bonzo Dog Band - Let's make up and be friendly
Since I have been collecting the Bonzo Dog Band collection on CD and vinyl, this album may be my second favorite of the five. It was a contractually obligated album which the Bonzos had to make even after they had broken up. Kind of like Fleetwood Mac when they were all breaking up personal relationships. The Bonzos had burned out from their 5 years of being on the road.

3.0 out of 5 stars Like it or lump it...
By this time in the Bonzos history, the pressures of the road and record company execs had taken their toll. Vivian had suffered a nervous breakdown, so he and Neil were at each other's throats. Roger Spear was fronting his own band (he released two excellent albums), and Rodney Slater had left the music business to become a psychiatric social worker. Rodney only appears...

Rodney only appears in 'spirit' so the cast comprises Neil, Viv, Roger, 'Legs' Larry, Dennis Cowan and a host of session musicians (Bubs White, Hughie Flint, Andy Roberts, Dave Richards, Dick Parry , and Yes' Tony Kaye). Hence, this was not really a 'reunion album, but more of a 'let's get together and fulfill our contractual obligation' album. Amusing liner notes written by Neil though, and a wonderful gem in Roger Spears' 'I Love To Bumpity Bump'.
