5.0 out of 5 stars This is a great punk CD for everyone!
This CD is one of the best I have. If you like MxPx of any other pop punk band you'll love these guys. Two of the members (Mike and Tom) are from MxPx and the two other (Dale and Jiles) are friends. The drummer from MxPx (Yuri) was originally the lead singer, and the group was actually a disco band. Then they kicked Yuri out and changed their style to punk. This guys...

1.0 out of 5 stars Ouch, TURN THIS OFF!
When I first heard about MxPx having a side-project band, I was stoked! So, being at the HG Fest, I decided to pick up a copy from Yob. When I got home I was so excited, I popped the CD in and had a listen. It reminded me a lot like those special $1.99 chips that you can buy at the grocery store. When you first open the bag you'r like "Yes!" and you savor...

This guys sound kind of like The Descendants skinny little brothers. Their wacky, out-the-wall style will entertain you every time that you hear the CD. They subject matter varies so much that everyon likes them. They sing about girls, Coke, the beach, , being a punk, D.D.F. (Distance Distortion Factor), and lots of other crazy stuff. You'll love this CD. Trust me!

If you need a little bit more speed than mxpx or maybe a not so hardcore punk as 90lb wuss this is the disc for you! Its filled with good beats and interesting lyrics, you can tell a hint of the Ramones in thier style. This is a CD that you will surely enjoy over and over.

5.0 out of 5 stars awesome version of "i'm ok you're ok", January 6, 1999

they definately aren't as good as mxpx. but they're still really good. I'd say their version of i'm ok you're ok is better than when mxpx did it. (of course mike still sings it)

4.0 out of 5 stars A must for all Mxpx/90 lb. Wuss Fans, August 22, 1999

In the great history of side "Projects" The Cootees have to be ranked second, only of Coarse to Will and Sams Side Band 'EMS'. Its a solid album featuring songs like DDF, School Girl Fantasy and other greats like "Im Ok Youre Ok" which later became popular MXPX song. If your into Christian Punk, or any other kind of punk, I highly recomend this CD.

When you first open the bag you'r like "Yes!" and you savor every single bite, as you git about half way through the bag, you're starting to feel a little sick so you offer some to your friends, but they don't want any. So you decide to be a man and finish off the bag. By the end you throw up all over the place and regret every buying those chips. That is how I felt when I bought this album! I hated it!
