2.0 out of 5 stars Lots of material. Too fast for beginners and intermediates., September 12, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: Let's Play Tennis [VHS] (VHS Tape)
For high-intermediate and advanced players with a good grasp of tennis termonology, this video would serve as a good refresher. However, for beginners and mid-intermediate players there is too much talk and too much information too fast. Cliff Drysdale, Fred Stolle, and Tracy Austin, talk like engines rushing to a fire.

The concepts are sound but the producer tries to cover too much and fails to find points of emphasis.

4.0 out of 5 stars A Great Deal!, May 18, 2000
By A Customer
This review is from: Let's Play Tennis [VHS] (VHS Tape)
After checking this video out of the library 2 times, and seeing my tennis game improve dramatically, I decided to buy my own copy! It's a great deal - for less than the price of a court rental, I can watch the video over and over to refresh and review basic skills. I thought this was great and will watch it several times in the future. Yes, there is alot of information, but that's what the rewind button is for.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good Intro to Tennis, January 18, 2000
By A Customer
This review is from: Let's Play Tennis [VHS] (VHS Tape)
This video is a good introduction to tennis. The comments of Tracy, Cliff and Fred are instructive. The technical quality is high.
