It's Good!!,

This review is from: Let's Rock (Audio CD)
This CD is a collection of songs, mostly rarities and B-sides. However, one cannot tell that after a few listens. Good performances and well-written material for the most part, particularly the tracks "Breathe Deep" and "1 and 3." The opening track is good as well. This CD sounds less polished and slick, especially in comparison to their more recent studio albums. In the end, this CD rocks and has almost as many hooks as "Panic," which makes it my surprise of 2006!

Very Nice for a B-Side album,
A Kid's Review

I am very pleased with this album of b-sides from mxpx. At first listen, nothing seemed to impress me. But when I listened closer, I noticed some really nice work by them. First of all "1 and 3" is a unique sounding track that is quite catchy. "Breath Deep", the single off the record, also stands out to me. I actually really enjoyed when they went a little ballady on me for a couple songs, including "Don't Forget Me" and "Where Did You Go"
I would recommend this to any long-time fan of mxpx, but for a new fan of the band, I would suggest you pick up "Slowly Going the Way of the Buffalo" or "Teenage Politics" before this one. I think this album is better if you already know the mxpx stuff really well. Cheers. BTW, I'm definitely not thirteen. I'm 14, thank you very much.

I have always loved this band and probably always will. This album is different than most of their other stuff but in a good way. If you like party rock more than punk rock then give it a try. It's just fun music.
