5.0 out of 5 stars Rock solid debut
Charm City Devils promises to be one of the hottest new rock bands to arrive on the rock music scene. With a true old-school, hard rock edge that is almost impossible to come by in today's market, Charm City Devils gives a refreshing slant on the current trend. If you like no-frills rock, get your hands on this cd and crank it for all it's worth. You won't be...

3.0 out of 5 stars It's ...Ok?
Rehashed suedo glam/rock. It's all been done before and typically a bit better! Not as brash as Backyard Babies, not as smooth as Hardcore Superstar. Overall it's just Ok. Too bad, I was expecting a lot more with Nikki's endorsment.

Energizing and driving, Charm City Devils' 'Let's Rock-N-Roll' is essential to any fan of rock music.

5.0 out of 5 stars Lets Rock N Roll !!!!, June 13, 2009

Charm City Devils is the first band to be signed by Eleven Seven president Nikki Sixx. This band must be something very special for him to sign them to his label. This is straight up rock n roll with a little Ac/Dc flavor thrown in. Their debut CD rocks! Any rock fan will love this be sure to pick it up!

4.0 out of 5 stars Rock ON!!!, September 9, 2009
This review is from: Let's Rock-N-Roll (Audio CD)
I've come to believe that in order to achieve balance in the cosmos, pretentious, intellectual bands like Radiohead and Coldplay must be balanced by AC/DC worshipping party rockers like Airbourne and Baltimore's own Charm City Devils.

Charm City Devils play raw, unpretentious party rock that owes a lot (everything really) to the godfathers of the genre - AC/DC. The fact that they call their 2009 debut album Let's Rock n' Roll says everything about what to expect when you spin it. It rocks, it's fun, and you don't have to think too hard when you're listening to it.

I'd probably be a little more excited about Charm City Devils if Australian rockers Airbourne hadn't beaten them to the punch early last year with Runnin' Wild, and of course AC/DC's own Black Ice kind of set the bar high for this kind of rock. Still, the world - and the current state of modern rock - can definitely use more of this kind of music.

I'll keep the recommendation simple. If you like to rock, get yourself a copy of Let's Rock n' Roll.

5.0 out of 5 stars Lets Rock n Roll them, August 22, 2009

CCD kicks butt! I have to say I made sure I was at Cruefest early just so I could catch a glimpse of the band Nikki took under his wings. CCD does not falter lyricaly, musicly, they sound just as great in concert as they do on CD. They are being compared to Areosmith (Toys in the Attic) AC/DC, and I agree a little Skidrowish. Ultimatly they are Charm City Devils! They sell themselves.

5.0 out of 5 stars Amazingly Good!!, June 25, 2009

I picked up this CD because Charm City Devils is opening Crüefest II this year and I wanted to hear the new band that was picked for the opening spot.

Let me tell you, I was NOT dissapointed. I put this CD in my car Tuesday and haven't taken it out. From the title track "Let's Rock n Roll" to the final track "Burn Baby Burn" this CD rocks, and at times, ROCKS HARD!

Many people are comparing Charm City Devils to AC/DC. If you like AC/DC then pick this up. I have all AC/DC's albums, and in my humble opinion, I think Charm City Devils has a more updated sound, and at times, a heavier sound. Being compared to AC/DC is a compliment for any band, but if you aren't a fan of AC/DC, don't let that stop you from getting this. The vocals are awesome, the musicmanship is amazing... Charm City Devils is going to be the suprise hit of Crüefest II, I promise!

In a year, when all your friends start asking you if you've ever heard of Charm City Devils, be the one that says "Where have you been?" Don't let this one pass you by!

1.0 out of 5 stars pure schlok..., March 21, 2011
This review is from: Let's Rock-N-Roll (Audio CD)
C'mon...what a load of crap. Pre-packaged, warmed-over 80's style schlock rock. Just saw these guys live this passed Saturday night on a 4 band ticket that Halestorm was headlining in Baltimore.

No creativity

No originality

Completely contrived look and sound

closed my eyes and thought for sure that I was at a Quiet Riot show back in '83. There are a huge number of infinitely better bands out there... don't waste your money.
