5.0 out of 5 stars Learn the Cheyenne Language, January 5, 2004

This review is from: Let's Talk Cheyenne (Cheyenne Edition) (Audio CD)
Wayne Leman is a notable linguist and one of the most respected scholars of the Cheyenne language. Ted Risingsun was a Northern Cheyenne elder, great-grandson of Chief Dull Knife, and native speaker of the language. It is his voice you hear on these tapes. If you are interested in the Cheyenne language this is a must-have. You will not come away from this audio course speaking Cheyenne like a native, obviously, but no audio course anywhere will do that for you all by itself. If you are interested in beginning an understanding of this lovely and complex language, however, this is a good place to start.
