Let's Go! Travel, Camp and Car Songs

We LOVE Susie Tallman in our home. We have every single one of her CDs and eagerly awaited the release of this one, Let's Go. Unfortunately, it is not a hit with us. There are many great classic songs on it, but Tallman sings nearly all of them herself, which is different from her other albums. Also, there are a few songs that have the same melody with different words and both versions are long. This makes the CD seem really short.

All three of my kids (ages 5, 3, 1) enjoy Tallman's Classic Nursery Rhymes the best, and so do I. Let's Go is good, but not something I can listen to over and over again.

My children love all of her music/CD's. We got the first 2 as gifts. It's fun for everyone to listen to and the vocals are great (adults and children). I like the updated versions and my children have learned all of the songs. It's something we don't mind listening to in the car and singing along with as we go.

My 2 and 4 year old girls get excited when they hear the first song on "Let's Go!" In almost no time, they've learned all the songs and love to sing along with Susie Tallman and Friends. Susie's done it again! This is a great compilation of clever songs that help make that potentially prickly "toddler drive time" a pleasure. I would recommend this to anyone with a sense of fun.

We have all of Susie's CDs and this is one of our 3 favorites. The songs are so fun, and we find ourselves all singing and dancing together every time we play it. There is so much kid's music out there that we just really don't resonate with but Susie's is so refreshing! Our toddler calls this "her music" and we can't leave home without it....

My son and I have really enjoyed this CD in the car. It is also excellent for group exercise with strollers. The kids and the moms all smile and get moving. It is fun to remember my old summer camp days and think ahead to when my child will make his own camp memories. The pleasantly long list of songs here are silly and singable and great to share.

I'm not sure who enjoys "Let's Go!" more, my fifteen-month old son or me! Many of the CD's songs carry me back to my summer camp days, and Tallman's original arrangements draw from so many musical styles it's impossible to grow tired of hearing them over and over again (the fact that there are 26 tracks instead of the usual 12 or 13 doesn't hurt either). My son's face lights up as soon as he hears the opening track (an original--"Let's Go") and some of our favorites include the upbeat "You Are My Sunshine," fun singalong "The Old Family Toothbrush," and Tallman's beautiful arrangement of "Home on the Range." "Let's Go!" is a must for your kids' musical collection!

We originally got hooked on Susie Tallman's lullaby CDs, but are equally pleased by her more upbeat CDs, especially as our daughter gets older. "Let's Go!" is no exception. This is one the whole family can enjoy. (It's also makes a great gift for the Summer vacation season.)

My kids and I LOVE this CD (and all of Susie Tallman's material for that matter)! I keep it in the car and if we haven't heard it in awhile, they ask for it above all others. The songs are classics from my childhood but with a very upbeat, hip new twist to them. They are all so cute, it's hard to pick a favorite and rarely have to skip a song on this CD. My kids have learned so much about rhyming and sequencing just from listening to her songs that have generalized to all parts of their learning. Even when we are out and about and find something that reminds them of one of these songs, they love to share about the correlations they make from real life to these songs. I can't tell you how much we love this CD and what a huge impact it has made on my kids. Kind of embarrasing, but once the kids are out of the car - I STILL find myself listening to it because it has such great beats and cute lyrics that I forget it's a children's CD! I rarely feel strongly about something that inspires me to write a review, but I feel this is a MUST HAVE item that I am so grateful to share with my children to enhance a happy childhood experience!

You know you've found gold when you hear your husband singing Susie Tallman cd's to your children. We love listening to her music while we're driving and my youngest daughter (18 months) says, " Let's Go!" when we get in the car. Both of my daughters love Susie's music.

I bought it for students who are learning English and they really enjoyed it because the music is fun.
