Format: Hardcover
This is a must for anyone wanting to get the bigger picture of the Lewis and Clark Expedition. It has transcripts from the Biddle-Clark interviews along with a host of helpful and very interesting information (who knew the Spanish were plotting to capture Lewis!). The editorial notes are very helpful.

If you want to learn about this expedition then this two volume work of some 800 pages is the book set to use. From preparation letters written and sent years before to letters sent after the trip was completed and all sorts of information as they traveled, to the sources of the documents, the index and the fine binding, this is a terrific set of books.
