Charles Osgood makes everything seem better and he does it again with this clever selection of letters and his own classic way of seeing them with dry wit and in forgiving human perspective makes this a small but delightful blessing for anybody's bookshelf - or gift list. What a funny book! Charles Osgood has done a great job of collecting letters from people down through history that are wonderfully funny--witty, nutty, the whole gamut. Great book to pick up for a few minutes here and there.

I usually do not read this style of book, Charles Osgood is brilliant but a little dry for me. Once i got started though, it was an impressive, witty and charming smiley read and had a couple of laughs and even a chortles! i would recommend it fer sher!!!
