I was very pleased with this series. It includes the scripture as well as the study format. Print is very legible for these old eyes. I would recommend for any group or individual seeking a more in-depth study.

This review is from: Letters to the Galatians & Ephesians (Ignatius Study Bible) (v. 8) (Paperback)
i read a lot of scott hahn so i decided to read his notes on the new testament and genesis...

i read them, i love them!!!

each front of one has the author - not who he was, but everybody he could be! then he goes on to explain all the main couldbes of the author, and why most picked the author they picked... and then the church's answer to it...

he explains the layout of the book, who it was written to/for, and why...

in the notes, at the bottom of each page of the book, the notes are abundant...some notes, because if you put in every note on every thing you end up with...the catechism, lol! no seriously the notes are worth reading, especially "contents and unity", "living tradition", "analogy of faith", topical essays, word studies, and charts...

i like curtis mitch, too...but the intro to the gospels, etc, arent in the individual books, and the study questions for understanding and for application arent in the new testament...

im looking forward to the old testament coming out individually and the old testament as whole...

also some (i dont know how many or how to order them) comes in large, easy to read format! great for stroke, lol!
