This review is from: Letters to His Children (Kindle Edition)
The book provided an interesting view point of Roosevelt, but it is exactly what it says it is... letters to his children. The part in which he talks his sons out of the military was the part which made it worth it for me. I enjoyed it, but probably could have spent my time better else where.

This review is from: Letters to His Children (Paperback)
This book is exactly what it says. It is a collection of letters from Theodore to his children at different times from 1898-1911. Most of the letters don't hold anymore than passing interest. There are a few that reveal interesting aspects of his personality but none really show anything that you likely didn't already know. There is also little in the introduction of each letter or even an explanation of how many children he had and what their relative ages were. This really ends up being a collection of primary sources that you could likely find online for free.
