This review is from: Letters, Lies, and Alibis (Delta Justice, Book 2) (Mass Market Paperback)
This book was very interesting, right from the beginning. Ms. Steen instills strong family value in both the hero and heroine. The story has a classic plot, where Travis Hardin (hero) is out to find the truth about his long-dead relative (Camille Gravier) and has made a promise to his grandmother to avenge her death. Upon arriving in Bayou Beltane, a private investigator in tow, no doubt, Travis meets confident, opinionated Shelby Delacroix (heroine). As expected, they don't know that their lives are strangely linked until Shelby hands Travis her business card and he realizes that he's been digging up dirt on her beloved family. Sparks fly, secrets are uncovered, and a scandalous secondary dilhemma adds to the fun. Vibrant, believable characters add to the charm of the South. This is a very good read.
