Those who are really interested in Marjorie Hickley's life -will find a lot of new facts about her. Just like in the other book "Glimpses on her life"-it shows what a wonderful and kind person she was.I really enjoyed reading her letters to her parents, kids and grandkids. Sometimes it's weird to think that she and her husband are normal, down to earth people, just like we are and with a good sense of humour. It was great to see how she was a young mom and then she became a grmother. This book was also interesting, because it reflects the earlier years in America, it's crises and changes from 40s to 80s. Great reading

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. It is a collection of letters written over the years by Marjorie Hinckley to her family and friends. I am impressed that so many letters were saved, and I am inspired to save some of my own correspondence.

Reading these letters really gave me an inside glimpse at Marjorie Hinckley. She is an inspiring woman with good advice and a great sense of humor.

I read this book some time ago, yet I still reflect on some things I learned from her that I try to implement in my life.

This is an easy and enjoyable read.

I want to thank the Hinckley family for opening up their lives to us. I have found strength in reading about the going on's in Marjorie's life, as well as a renewed perspective about life. There is something so comforting about this book. To be able to peek into the life of such a wonderful mother has made me a better mother. I just cannot thank the Hinckley family enough for sharing. I have been laughing and crying on and off for the past few weeks as I ponder these letters and life in general. I have been writing more letters too!
