Pearls for the journey! Lassons learned and advice given

Pearls from the heart for the journey are a mother's words of wisdom to her sons. It is a legacy in words. Every parent should have acquired something from the journey that ought to be left behind. Our legacy is our hope for the future. Generations to come should not have to wonder, they should know with surety that they were thought of, prayed for, and bestowed blessings. May you be inspired to pen your words and pass on your legacy.

Editorial Reviews

From the Author

It is my hope that you will consider leaving a legacy to your children. You matter to them more than you think. Your children do not expect you to be perfect. It would mean the world to them to know that you have good thoughts and hopes for them. This will out last worldly accomplishments and it would be the catalyst to get them where they want to be, acquiring their dreams. I hope you find this book as more than just a book, but as a model to leave behind as your legacy to your loved ones.

From the Inside Flap

I have long thought of leaving my sons a legacy. My sons are my perfect gift from God. I do not mean to say that they are perfect, but only that they are perfectly mine. I desire for them to be as wholesome and upright as they can possibly be. These words are the words that I wish so often I had heard. They would have made the difference in my whole life. So, here I give to my sons the greatest of my acquisitions; my wisdom on some of life's issues. I hope that as they read, they will be able to gather enough pearls to help them on this journey called life.

5.0 out of 5 stars Lessons in Truth, September 8, 2007
This review is from: Letters To My Sons: Failure to Thrive (Paperback)
These are personal letters from a mother that truly knows the Word, and the trials that come along in this journey called life. Within this journey is hope in Jesus, faith in God, and spiritual lessons learnt that must be passed on. What I received most from this book is that this journey of life is to build character and character is built on honesty, honesty is built on truth, and truth and time no matter what walks hand in hand. So the foundation of truth is to be learnt from the beginning of life, guide us on our journey and ultimately lead us to eternity. To quote K. Joy Sandiford "It is your character that those who knew you will speak of when you are gone. This same character is what you will stand before God with, on that day of reckoning." Let the truth be told.
