A Wonderful Collection of Tributes, Memories, and Humor,
This review is from: Letters To My Teacher: Tributes to the People Who Have Made a Difference (Paperback)
Letters to My Teacher is a fabulous collection of letters written to very special teachers-those that have touched the lives of their students in very special ways. Heartfelt, humorous, reflective-all bring to light the impact teachers have on their students. This would make a wonderful gift for your favorite teacher, students entering the education field, or an entertaining gift for yourself. "Letters" is an easy read format, but is difficult to put down. As an educator and a contributor to this wonderful collection, I would be honored to have received this book as a gift.

Contacting contributor,
This review is from: Letters To My Teacher: Tributes to the People Who Have Made a Difference (Paperback)
It was a wonderful honour to have my letter included in this collection and the compilers were always most kind and professional in their approach. If you would like to get to know me better, why not visit the readers' forum at fascinationbooks.co.za/Forum. May I also encourage other contributors to post their contact details here, so that we can form a networking group. Lois Henderson

Not inspiring,
By Ang Kok Weng (Penang, Malaysia) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Letters To My Teacher: Tributes to the People Who Have Made a Difference (Paperback)
This book is not inspiring at all. I was a lecturer in a college for almost three years. When I saw this book, I didn't even think twice. I picked up the book, feeling very excited, and paid. The first few stories were OK, but boredom got into me later. I tried not to be prejudice against this book. I tried to look for a "jewel", but I didn't find any. The writers didn't manage to touch my heart. The messages did get across. They shared with the reader their gratitude, however the gratitude didn't come on strong. It didn't move my heart. Nonetheless, it's a good feeling that there are so many people who still remember their teachers. I'm grateful for this. Teaching is one of the best professions in this earth.
