A Great Keepsake,
By Heather Ribble (Illinois) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Letters for Tomorrow (Hardcover)
My husband and I were both thrilled with this book. It will be such a great keepsake when our son is older and we will definetely be getting another one for any other little blessings that come along. It is such a great way to record all that you are thinking and feeling and there are even places to put pictures of your ever expanding wasteline! Family and friends can also record their thoughts and feelings as well. A definete must have for any expectant parent!

I searched and searched for a Pregnancy Journal when I was pregnant with my first baby. I loved Letters for Tomorrow. What a beautiful present for my daughter! Now I'm pregnant with my second, and will be buying another. The format is wonderful!

I bought this journal for my first pregnancy and loved it! When I was pregnant for the 2nd time, I searched high and low for it and looked at lots of duds along the way. Most pregnancy journals give you a small amount of room to record things such as your weight, what happened at checkups, how you're feeling physically, etc. They are full of "helpful" information and leave little room for you to express yourself. THIS journal, however, is quite different. The pages are formatted as letters to the unborn baby. Most pages have a topic already assigned: "You had your first picture taken. It's called an ultrasound...", "You're moving around more and more...", "There was a baby shower for you...", etc. Some have blank topic lines in case you can't find a page that fits your situation at the moment. They are all set up for anyone to write...mothers, fathers, grandparents, and so on. Both my husband and I have written letters to our two children in their books. Every time I look back at them it brings tears to my eyes thinking of those expectant times. As my boys get older, it will be so meaningful for them to see how we felt when they were on the way. This journal does "expect" a little more from the expectant parent than just statistics but I think it's definitely worth it in the long run! I highly recommend this journal to any expectant parent and it also makes a terrific gift.

I found the approach to recording all of my most intimate thoughts while experiencing pregnancy very rewarding and fulfilling. I look forward to sharing these thoughts with my twins after they are of an age to understand. Buy this Book!

I bought this book when I was pregnant with my first child 2 years ago. It was a wonderful experience to be able to share my life and feelings toward her and toward the pregnancy. My husband and my sisters also wrote to her, and I even took it with me to the hospital to write right after she was born. I'm looking forward to buying it again, as I'm expecting my second child!

A must for anyone expecting, truly a time capsule of memorie,

A must for anyone expecting, truly a time capsule of memories. You can even add to this through the years of your child's life. I would suggest a new book with each new child. This also makes a special gift that anyone would treasure, much better than a baby book.

LETTERS FOR TOMORROW A JOURNAL FOR EXPECTANT,
By A Customer
This review is from: Letters for Tomorrow (Hardcover)
This is my third pregancy and I have kept this journal with each of my children. It is great for your first or your 15th pregancy because each is different and so exciting that it is wonderful to have a record for them. The book is great in the way that it gives you topics and suggestions of things to write about and a place to put pictures of you your growing tummy. Sometimes a pregancy can become all you think about and this is a great outlet for so many feelings, hopes, worries - everything! It has been a wonderful journal and a terrific keep sake!

This is an excellent journal if you love to write! It gives you headings and ideas for each entry. I thought that it had WAY TOO MANY topics and pages to fill in though. It's nice because it has sample letters in the back and it has places to put monthly pictures. It's a very cute and thoughtful book that I think any child will enjoy reading in the future.

Best Journal Ever!!,

A friend of mine gave me this journal when I found out I was pregnant. I absolutely LOVE it!! I write in it religiously along with my husband. I have all our sonogram pics, belly pics, family pics, and baby shower pics in there. I also use it to write all the gifts we received (although it doesn't have a section for it). My friends and family have written in it as well. I will definitely buy this journal for my next babies to come.

I used this book both as a journal and as a baby book. I took it to all of my baby showers to record gifts, even though it doesn't have an area for that purpose. I had my baby's grandparent write letters to him. This is something that will be treasured for a long time.
