When co-workers, neighbors, or even family members challenge your faith, are you always ready with an answer? In Letters to a Troubled Church, Ray Stedman uses Paul's epistles to the church in Corinth to guide you through such difficult matters as atheism, divorce, Christlike love versus worldly love, the roles of men and women, and moral ""gray"" areas that confront you in today's world. Ray uses everyday language with solid biblical insight to help you, or a small group, so that you will be ""ready to make a defense to everyone who asks you to give an account for the hope that is in you"" (1 Peter 3:15).
Ray Stedman (1917-1992) pastor, teacher, author and well-known Bible expositor. A graduate of Dallas Theological Seminary, Ray Stedman authored numerous books including other Joy of Living studies: Psalms of Faith, Psalms from the Heart, Nehemiah, Job, Gospel of Mark, Romans, Ephesians and Revelation.
