This is one of those romance stories that has the potential to grab your attention and not let go until the last page is turned. There aren't R-rated scenes nor does it have the "preachiness" of many books in the christian genre. This story starts out in the early 1950s with a 17 year old girl and her 21 year old boyfriend. She lives with her divorced mother and sister. He is in the navy. The couple gets married and very soon afterwards he is deployed. Jealousy, lies and conniving people have the potential to tear the couple apart. Does it? You'll have to read it for yourself and find out. :)There are a few instances where some editing is needed but overall this is a great book.

I found this book to be very interesting novel as I recognize some parts as fact, but mostly fiction with a Hollywood ending which is a feel good climax to the well written novel. Interesting at times, suspenseful at other times. I congratulate the author as I believe she has a good future as a writer of fiction & am looking forward to her other published novels.
