About the Author

John Vredevelt has been a staff pastor at East Hill Church in Gresham, Oregon, since 1978. He currently serves as one of several assistant pastors to this congregation of 6,500. As a Pastoral Counselor, John has led anger management classes for many years. Together, John and his wife lead anger management seminars for couples who want to learn how to fight fairly and enhance their conflict management skills.

I highly recommend this book for both Men and Women. Since it was authored by a Husband and wife team, you will find the examples relevant to both sexes. Unlike other books that deal with primary emotions, this one is accessible to a wide audience. There are no theoretical ramblings or self help language you cannot understand. This book cuts the bull and gets right to the point! An excellent resource for Anger recovery classes. I strongly recommend it for people who don't think they have a problem with anger. The difference between this book and many others is the fact that it actually gets read instead of sitting on the shelf!
