Once commonly available for binding dissertations and other large documents, spring-back binders are now hard to find. This particular one is of excellent quality. It is sturdily crafted, extremely attractive on one's bookshelf, and includes labels that can be attached to the spine and cover. If you're unfamiliar with how to use this type of binder, a couple of pictures on the wrapper make it clear -- and easy. An advantage of this type of binder is that one can release the pages anytime to add or replace pages. Yet the pages when gripped by the strong spring built into the spine of the binder stay quite firmly in place. The design, materials and craftsmanship are so good that this binder would best be termed "elegant." Highly recommended.

The springback binder works really well, had clear instructions and is of great quality. I use it to hold my scripts in so they don't fall apart over the course of rehearsals, and it works really well for me.

I love the spring back binder. I searched for months before deciding on this for a writing project of mine. It was durable, and very easy to use. It adds a professional look to any amateur project. I am a huge fan!!!

I used to be able to buy spring back binders years ago, but the company went out of business several years ago. I was delighted to find that someone has picked up the slack and is now offering them. I do a lot of duplex printing and in the past had either punch the paper myself or buy (expensive) pre-punched paper and force the pages in a plain cover three clip paper presentation folder, however as I understand this is also not manufactured anymore, at least in the configuration I want. These Peka binders are the best I've come across, but they are terribly difficult to find, much less at a good price. I checked the Leuchttrum's website (in English) and discovered they make quite a wide array of this type binder: higher capacity, and larger trim sizes, a variety of colors and cover fabrics. None of which seem to be available in the US, I think that is a disservice to potential customers. I tried on several occasions to contact Leuchtturm, but they seem to have difficulty in responding, the same goes for their North American distributer: Kikkerland. I would think they would be eager to distribute their products more widely. I would not hesitate to recommend this product, except they are so darned difficult to find and the prices vary dramatically.
