Very nice cover that looks "right" on my scope. This cover is for the ocular lens of a Leupold 1.5-5-20mm, Ill. VX-3 scope, 30mm tube diameter. The objective lens cover is sold by Leupold to fit this scope. These covers match the scope perfectly in finish and look right at home on this scope. They are easy to release and flip up out of the line of sight when shooting. The gold Leupold crest in the middle of the cover may be over the top for some but I like it. The lens covers crest matches the crest that is on the side of the VX-3 scope. These covers are made by Leupold in their factory and this fact was confirmed by a phone call to Leupold. The lens packaging is made in another country and may mislead some, leadlng them to think that the cover is made overseas as well. They are not.

It really pays to spend that extra buck! These are great!! Easy to mount, adjustable as to flipup position, and really silent operation. I havent been the rain yet but I expect them to be dry given the seal you get upon closing Really quality caps!!!!

A great piece of equipment and a must have for your Leupold scope. Works and fits great, but make sure you have the right thread size.

I am happy with the quality of these lens covers. Right out of the package you can feel the quality, feels solid. The flipping mechanism performs flawlessly and is completely silent. It was very easy to mount, all you have to do is screw it in slowly so you catch the grooves and not cross-thread it. Despite the hefty price for these lens covers i give it 5 stars.
