The lens cover is a good product and it's very easy to install without having to remove the scope from the mounts. The opening and closing action is very smooth and there no noise when opening the covers.

Although the covers are a little pricey they are definitely worth the extra money.

The fit and finish on these is fantastic. They screw right in and the neodymium magnets hold the flaps securely.

Flipping them open is smooth, quick, and quiet.

When the flaps are open, they don't lay flat across the top of the to the scope, but more like 45 degrees. I don't see how that would be a problem though.

Yes, they're expensive, but they're worth every penny.

Works as advertised. Made out of high quality materials. Screws right on the scope. LIke the magnets and little notches to open and close.

I installed these covers on my scope today. It only took a couple of minutes and they were correctly installed on there, protecting the investment I made in my Leupole scope. I've had covers in the past but I always had problems with them. They would let in water, snag on branches and clothing, and they were just not that durable. The way I see it, if you just dropped $600 on a new scope then why not spend another $80 and protect your optics the best you can. I will admit $80 is a little pricey for a lens cover but it is worth it if you want to keep your lenses in tip top shape for a long time.

These covers fit my scope perfectly. It took a few tries to thread the covers on to flip up parallel with the scope, but those two extra minutes were well worth it. The previous reviews cover the rest. After investing in a quality scope, I feel better knowing I am protecting the lenses.

I am really happy with my purchase. At first I was going to purchase the plastic ones that everyone has. But after a brief moment and reading about these I am really glad I purchased the Leupold ones. If you have a 10 dollar scope, then by all means by the cheap lens covers. These, when bought thru Amazon were not that much more expensive than the plastic ones but open and close without any noise. They are made really nice and I cannot see how someone could find fault with them at all. Makes my Rock River Arms Predator Pursuit rifle look like the bad ass coyote rifle it is supposed to be. They really finish off the look. I will be purchasing more.
