Leupold pushed everything to the limit to help the VX-3 3.5-10x40 riflescope feel at home on your favorite rifle. Whether you're hunting whitetail from a tree stand or stalking sheep in rugged terrain, the VX-3's optical technology helps you make the shots of a lifetime.
The VX-II riflescope features a lockable fast-focus eyepiece for easier targeting.
The VX-3 drastically improves optical performance thanks to its Xtended Twilight Lens System and DiamondCoat 2 lens coating. The Xtended Twilight Lens System optimizes the transmission of low-light wavelengths, so you can see the details of low-light scenes in greater, brighter detail than ever before. The DiamondCoat 2 exterior lens coating, meanwhile, offers higher light transmission and the greatest level of abrasion-resistance Leupold has ever offered. Designed to exceed military standards for hardness and durability, the DiamondCoat 2 coating proves its worth in the wildest places on earth while ensuring extreme brightness, clarity, and contrast.
The scope includes finger-adjustable 1/4-MOA clicks.
The VX-3 is compatible with Leupold's Custom Dial System (CDS), giving you dead-on hits every time without the holdover. Leupold's CDS models allow you to quickly dial your elevation to different sight-in ranges, with a custom adjustment matched to your rifle's specific ballistics information. The CDS works by laser-inscribing your scope's elevation dial to match your load, velocity, and conditions. Your scope will be in perfect synch with the way your rifle and load shoots, even for hand loads. Plus, CDS dials change out easily, giving you flexibility with different loads, conditions, and calibers.
The VX-3 virtually eliminates erector system backlash and stress with its twin bias spring, which exerts up to 30 percent more holding force on the erector. This improves the internal workings of the scope and extends the scope's life. The scope also includes blackened lens edges to reduce light diffusion, so more usable light reaches the shooter's eye to create a brighter image with increased contrast.
Other features include a Duplex reticle; cryogenically treated 1/4-MOA click windage and elevation adjustments with resettable pointer dials marking the zero point; a tactile power indicator with built-in range estimation functions; an internally threaded, lockable fast-focus eyepiece with an Alumina rubber eyepiece guard; and a durable Leupold scope cover that protects your VX-3 riflescope during transport or when not in use.
As a final touch, Leupold mounts a 24k gold-plated ring and medallion to each scope. Rugged and waterproof, the VX-3 riflescope is covered by Leupold's full manufacturer's lifetime warranty.
