Great scope. Great clarity. Easy focus. Works great on a small tripod or tall tripod. Have used on a 500 yard range and able to see all aspect of man sized targets.

This is one of those products that hits the "sweet spot" in the price / performance ratio. There are better quality scopes - but you will spend a lot more to get very small increases in viewing quality (clarity, sharpness, detail, brightness, etc.). I use this scope for the shooting range and general recreational viewing of all types and at all hours. It is clear and detailed throughout it's very practical and useful magnification range. Many people complain about the lack of clarity of scopes with higher magnification (60X +) without realizing that atmospheric interference (dust, moisture / humidity, haze, smog, heat mirage, etc.) are also magnified as the magnification power increases. I can easily see .22 caliber bullet holes on paper at 150 yards (the maximum range I shoot a .22) at 15x. I am VERY pleased with this product. I don't claim it to be as "perfect" as a $2500 scope, but it is good enough that I have no desire for anything better. I would have preferred to give it 4.7 stars, but that option isn't available.

This is a quality product. I use it primaily for long distance target archery. I considered the 80mm aperature model to get the additional light on cloudy days but did not want to spent the extra $200. The 60mm model works just fine. The only thing I would have like included in a stay-on cover. The product provider shipped the spotting scope right away and was very helpful in attempting to get the serial number by contacting Leupold...turns out the unit did not have one however only the model number is required for posting the warranty information.

I needed a tough, light weight scope for birding that fit my budget. While this scope fits the bill it is not equal to a
$3,000 scope. But It has enough power to fit my need and is tough enough to withstand the rigors of working on a ocean beach that is sometimes windy. After using it a month I am still satisfied. Care should be taken in the choice of a tripod. I went through four before I got one that worked.

The transaction was excellent, the product was as described and arrived earlier than expected.

I would recommend this scope it is a best buy for the price.

I searched for a long time for a decent scope that didn't cost me an arm & a leg! This is the one. It has crisp clear optics and is perfect for sitting on the deck & bird watching or some nighttime astronomy viewing.

This spotting scope is an outstanding buy for your money. As usual, Leupold does a great job of manufacturing a a scope with very clear and sharp images. At the shooting range, I have no issues with identifying shot holes at 200 yards. While it's a little on the large size for it, I've also taken it hiking and hunting to identify game at long range. Especially for an introductory scope, I can recommend this model with no reservations.

I have been shooting for some time now. I used my friend optics and got his guidance on what I should look for when buying my own. I found that Leupold is a very good product, liken to the other ratings, this scope is worth the money. Save your money buying the cheap stuff, buy a decent spoting scope. I am glad I did.

Very Good optics in this price range.
I especially appreciate the generous eye relief. I can easily view through the scope without crowding the eye piece even wearing shooting or sun glasses.
