4.0 out of 5 stars Belt Display Rack
Nothing fancy but perfect for displaying belts. My son really likes to see his accomplishments displayed and I was glad to get the belts out of the drawer and on display. It is already assembled and easy to put belts on.

2.0 out of 5 stars Eh...
This item looks good in the picture, but when I recieved it, I realized I could have built a better one MYSELF. The wood is of poor quality & it looks like it was just thrown together and shoved in the box. I should have investigated other belt displays, but the only bad part to buying online I guess is that the pictures look better then the real product.

1.0 out of 5 stars Disgusted, November 27, 2011
This review is from: Ten Level Martial Arts Karate Belt Display (Misc.)
I ordered this as a Christmas gift for my 6 year old son, who is now taking karate lessons and needs somewhere to display his belts. I was disgusted when I opened the box and saw what I had purchased. The photo on Amazon.com is quite deceiving. I paid $40 for a piece of flimsy wood. I could have made a better display rack myself. I also got no instructions whatsoever about how to use the straps to display the belts -- I guess I will figure it out myself. Also, it appears that something protruded into the package during shipping and there is a hole in one of the slats. I love Amazon.com, but I'm very disappointed with this product. I expected more for the $40 I paid ... and apparently I expected way too much. I would not recommend that anyone pay $40 for this piece of junk.

This is garbage worth about $3.00. Unfinished, un-sanded wood - the screws came out of the hinges first time I unfolded it. Amazon should be ashamed to sell crap like this. And I have to pay to return it.

2.0 out of 5 stars Very Cheaply Made..., May 9, 2011

After seeing what came in the mail for how much I paid, I first kicked myself for not making it myself. The construction is flimsy, the elastic bands that hold the belts snap very easily. There aren't even suggested tips for how to place the belt, so you're left trying to figure out the best way to do it (hence the elastic band snapping).

There are probably about $2-5 worth of parts in this thing and that may be generous. After shipping, this cost me $40.

When we received the karate belt display some of the screws had already come out. We replaced the screws with ones that fit better. When my nephew opened it and took it out of the gift box, the screws from the other side had popped out too. For the money I paid, that should NOT have happened.

I am happy with the product however for the price I expected better straps. Two straps broke while I was attaching the belts.

I purchased 2 of these belt display/holders, one each for my daughter and granddaughter, shipped direct to them in NV. The hinges had to be re-nailed, as they were "quite flimsy." The elastic bands were very stiff, making it difficult to mount the belts, but once mounted the belts display nicely...10 for my daughter, and 7 for my granddaughter (with 3 open slots). I'm not sure I would buy this item again.

Comparing the price to other belt displays, I was honestly not expecting too much. It was still a disappointment though. It did not even include the bands to hold the belts in place. If I had more time before Christmas, I would have tried to get something better. Instead, I'll make do and thankfully I know my son will still like it. First time EVER I have been let-down by something I ordered from Amazon.

3.0 out of 5 stars Just O.K., December 6, 2011

It is not sturdy at all. One of the rubber bands broke, and we even had to stain it in a darker color, because I didn't like that light color. It does the job, though.
