Level Mount DC37DJ Articulating Wall Mount for 10" to 37" Displays (Black)

I was quite pleased when I opened the box. The mount was very well packaged. Nicely engineered. Good finish and seemed hefty enough to support my 32" Sony monitor,since it was rated to handle up to a 37" screen. There were nuts, screws and enough hardware to fit most Vesa mount configurations. The directions were fine. The included stud finder is just a toy and was useless in finding the stud. Fortunately, I have several other stud finders so that didn't hold up my project.

The mount MUST be attached to a stud and the wall where I wanted the monitor located had the stud a few inches off the center of the wall. So it took a few minutes to figure our how to offset the Vesa mount on the back of the monitor to compensate for the off center stud. The small mount didn't fit the monitor, so I had to use the extensions that came inside the package. These were well engineered so that the holes for the assembly bolts held them securely as the screw nuts were tighten. I thought the extended screw nuts were a nice touch and eased the assembly. All seemed well for attaching the articulating arm, now attached to the back of the monitor, onto the wall mount that was held to the stud by four stout(#P3)screws. It would have been nice to have a helper but I was alone and managed to slide the arm over the wall mount while holding the monitor. It went on easily and snapped securely into place. An extra screw can be installed to make it difficult to remove it. (Theft deterrent.)

All was fine until I tried to articulate the arm. It drooped. There is enough play in the three axles that pivot the arm that it sags and droops. To return the monitor flush to the wall, I had to lift it up so that the arm sections would line up and not hit on each other. I was so disappointed. A couple of hours of planning, measuring, assembly and installation were now down the drain and I have to start searching again for a mount that will work for me since this one is going back to Amazon.

This mount might be fine for a smaller TV or monitor but it just can't handle the 37 lbs of my monitor even though it's rated to 100 lbs.

The level mount DC37 was just what the doctor ordered. It came with a stud finder wich is a must ,since screws-4 need to go deep into solid wood. The price is what hooked me ,along with it's ability to ajust. It's not one I would recommend for anything weighing more than 30 lbs. due to sag in arm if extended. My sony 32 inch XBR9 looks great . the mount has built in level wich you do need to keep TV looking level without ajustments to level mount.Great buy when compared to others in this group.

I needed a mount for a 27" flat-screen TV, & this one was a great choice. It is low-profile, swings easily, & the mounting bolts are sturdy. It is easy to install, & works great. A good product.

this was used for a 32 inch lcd. It is made of very heavy duty construction and nice color overall. There were very many different attachment making it a universal hanger. The cord hook is nice and built in also. The price was great in comparison to retail store offerings.

Very good product, easy to mount and durable. I Have have it mounted with a 32" flat screen TV for almost two years and haven't had any problem at all.

I have had my TV mounted for over a year now and this thing is holding up great. If I remember correctly it was very easy to install to my 22" Vizio TV. It has many options for angles so it should work in any application. We hung our TV in the upper corner of the bedroom and angled the screen down. I would recommend this to a friend.

I install video monitors for a living. Never have I seen a bracket mounting system of this quality. It makes installing the monitor a one person job for the TV size I purchased. 32'' inch lcd.

I'm ashamed to say that I was so happy when our bedroom TV died last year - it was big and bulky. And the bottom of it sat so low that I had to sit bolt upright in the bed to see the entire screen.

Bought myself a nice 32" LG LCD, and then looked at the ridiculously-priced mounts the store offered. After previously buying a wall mount for my son on Amazon, knew I could do much better here.

Settled on this mount, although a couple of the reviews scared me a little. Overall, just sounded like a good product. And I'm so glad I bought it.

First, my hubby's a construction guy - but that means he's also prone to blowing his top when things don't work as advertised. But installing this, for him, was a snap. Not even a cross word uttered.

I told him I was just a little nervous about hanging my new baby (the tv) on this mount - did he feel confident with it? So, to prove to me, he hung on it. He pulled on it. It did not bend. It did not droop. It just kept hanging there. So I let him put my new baby onto the hanger. Since it weighs substantially less than my husband does, I didn't expect it to droop - and it didn't.

Regarding other raters comments on having to connect to the stud - the nice thing about this tv is all the articulating parts. The stud on the wall where I wanted to place the tv was not centered, which bugged me a little. Figured I'd have to re-configure the entire ROOM, because the mount was going to dictate where the tv could be located. But turns out it didn't matter - the arm articulates and you can push the entire thing over a number of inches - enough to perfectly fit in the small space I'd allowed for it (between the bathroom door and a tall dresser).

The secret to its stability seems to be in screwing down all the articulated parts as tightly as possible. Once everything is screwed down, the tv doesn't budge.

Regarding other raters comments about holes not aligning. Since I was so paranoid about this, I was careful to get the whole pattern from my tv's owner's manual, and I found the mount to fit my hole pattern. Didn't have to use any of the included hardware. Please consider this when you're looking for a mount - I'd think that flush mount to the back of the set would be much more stable than using any extensions.

Have had this mount up since around the beginning of 2010, and am still as happy with it as I was when it was first put up. Am tickled I didn't spend >$100 at the electronics place for a mount that probably wouldn't have been as good as this one is.

I'd sure buy this one again!

This is a great wall mount. We hung a 32" hdtv in a corner and this mount was easy to install and is very stable. I will be buying another one for our other tv.

The reviews are pretty accurate, and I couldnt believe just how well made this item was at this price.
I own a 27" LG flat screen. The predrilled holes on TV for wall mounting did not line up with this product's included extensions..
So, alhtough it states 10-37" know that you may need to take a saw to the extenders in order to make it work, or else you will have rods sticking out from all four corners. Not pretty at all :)
