I purchased this toy box for my daughter's 1st birthday, so it hasn't seen a lot of actual use yet. However, it arrived well packaged, and was very easy to put together. The instructions were clear and all the hardware was provided. The painting and colors are just as seen in the photo - quite adorable. My daughter does enjoy climbing on the bench and sitting there. The only thing I would've perhaps liked is a little cutout below the lid to protect fingers if the lid is pushed down - it does have a slow-close safety hinge, so it will probably never be an issue - but I can just imagine an incident with cousins and the push/pull of someone wanting it closed and someone wanting it open. Overall I am very happy, time will tell if it holds up - and this toybox is SO much nicer than the plastic Step2 I was also considering, and then rejected when I saw it in person.

Product is a small toy box. Quality is good but not exceptional. Lid would not close initially without first placing several books on it; after a a day it was OK. My one-year old grandchild seems to enjoy the box and it is easily accessible by even a small child.

I bought this and the matching revolving bookshelf for my granddaughter's 3rd birthday. My husband was impressed with the quality and how easy it was to assemble. Everthing lined up perfectly. It is really a piece of furniture. All little girls will love the bench feature. The colors are subtle and will easily fit into any girl's bedroom.

I had my eye on this toy box for eight months before I finally decided to buy it. It shipped promptly and was very well-packaged. It was incredibly easy to put together (even with the "help" of my 2 year old) and is very sturdy. The storage space is ample and there is, of course, the added benefit of charming seating as well. I wish that it had come with a cushion like some of the other Toy Boxes offered by this brand, but even without it the bench is great! My daughter absolutely adores it. I am now considering making some other purchases from this line!

This bench came with detailed instructions on how to put it together, took me about 20 minutes. The bench isnt big enough to utilize as a "Toy Box" per say, it doesnt fit alot of stuff. However, it does match Cocalo's plum butterfly collection perfectly. (the design is actually discontinued).

My wife wanted another toybox but one with a bench. How much stuff do kids need? Anyway i bought this one. Its a great product. Took about half an hour to put together. The screws all fit perfectly. It has a nice cover seat witha device that holds it up safely. Overall nice bench for girls room. The wife can sit on it while the kids play and we have room to buy more stuff for the kids... My vote just get rid of the old toys. I lost that battle.

I have to admit. This is one of the best packed items I have received. Got it for my Granddaughter for Christmas. Perfect size and the seat has a safety arm to keep the seat from dropping down too fast.

First of all, I bought the entire Sugar Plum set for my grand daughters room. I painted the entire room pink(top) and purple(bottom) to match the set. Then I made my own stencils to mimick the butterfly/flower pattern and made a faux wallpaper border between the colors around the room. I just bought the toy box as a xmas gift to go in her room. I'm very pleased with my purchase. It arrived within 2 days. Of course we had to put it together but in the end is was solid and sturdy. I was afraid it would be made of cheap wood and would be flimsy. Not at all. It's a very nice toy box and it matches the set perfectly. I gave it a 5 star rating on everything because I liked it so much. The reality is a toy box is not fun so it was hard to rate that. So I gave it 5 stars on functionality. Educational too. The box itself is not educational, but it sure can store educational toys, RIGHT? Very durable and once again, 5 stars on quality and design, especially for a toy box. And it can be used as a bench too.

a total piece of chinese junk. lid did not fit properly, hinges on the lid were defective. screws on the preassembled parts were sticking out. looked like it was used.
