I bought this from Amazon and do not like it. I've been giving bars away to anyone who would take a few of them. First of all it smells strongly and the smell is horrible. It also dried my skin tremendously. AND, it made me itch. I don't have particularly sensitive skin either -- I usually use Palmolive (green classic) or Zest. So, I really don't like anything about it except that it doesn't seem to disappear quickly. That's probably because I want it to! I always thought the Lever 2000 was really good soap -- guess because it costs a little more. I wouldn't take it for free!!

I purchased two packages of this soap in November of 2006 and still have plenty of bars of soap left. I have two teenage boys that are involved in several sports and they shower constantly. They come out of the shower smelling clean and fresh and the soap lasts. You can't ask for more, definitely a good deal and worth every cent!

Lever 2000 smells nice and locks in moisture in your body. Unlike Irish Spring which can dry up your body after shower. I would definately repurchase Lever2k.

If you can get this during one of the promo periods, it's a great value. Far less expensive than purchasing small packs, and a bit better than the prices at the warehouse clubs (which, in the case of Sam's Club, offer only the 4 oz rather than the 4.5 oz bars like Amazon does).

Nice scent, although I wouldn't mind if it was a bit less. It's not overpowering like some other soaps, but it is stronger than soaps such as Ivory. Very smooth consistency, and the bar stays in one piece (unlike Ivory which tends to break when the bar gets smaller). Nice lather, and does not dry or irritate the skin.

If you can get it during a promo sale, it's well worth the price.

Our family bought this Lever soap with the vaseline when I couldn't find my favorite soap on amazon. We've used our supply over a period of months. My 21-year-old daughter does not like the way her skin feels after using it. I have noticed that my bathtubs develop a soap ring much faster than with any other soap we have ever used. I like Lever soaps in general, but I will avoid this particular one in the future.

The ONLY soap I will buy. Lever smells fabulous and works like a charm! It cleans all your body parts and leaves a soft scent and smooth skin. Makes a great lather for shaving and is kid-friendly!

I have used Lever 2000 plenty of times and love it, however, it is kind of expensive if you cannot find it in bulk. Lo and behold I found it here. I earned some gift certificates that would be expiring soon and used it for this purchase and I don't think I will be buying any soap for a while.

This is a fabulous soap. It is the only one we use . Our water is soft, but it works darn good in hard water down at the lake. every one who showers at our place coments on the soap.

Not sure what the vaseline part is about - but lever 2000 is good stuff. It is soap. Smells nice and is gentle enough for me. Works great.
