This was such a good season! Nate sees that his victories against the rich and powerful are being tracked by an outside party who stands to undeservedly gain from their good deeds.

This season follows the same formula as previous ones: a unique job for each episode, a season long villain, an appearance by sterling, flashbacks, funny banter between characters, single season story arc, two part finale, and, of course, they blow shit up.

I recommend this show to anyone and everyone. If you're like me and tired of lame network programming that consists entirely of reality competition shows, Leverage is your answer. Each episode is like a new game or puzzle that lets you try to figure out just how they pulled off their con at the last minute.

Season 4 was the best season so far. I loved everything about it. The characters now have really bonded and matured, they have really learned to trust one another. I hope Leverage stays on for years to come. Even when I don't enjoy the con I love to see how they interact to make it work. So glad I stumbled upon this show.

THis season was well done and though it was sad, it still moves in the right direction. I like that they keep bringing in reoccurring characters. Would like to see Detective Banano more, and Sterling.

This episode stands alone on its own as an enjoyable episode. When viewed in tandem with the Girls Night Out episode it is amazing fun. This episode lets us see the events from the guys' side of the evening. The boys' poker night is interrupted by a visit to Nate from Jack Hurley (the Rehab job from prior season). Hurley has bumbled into a job unknowingly smuggling drugs for a fake nun. This had led him to become a target of the Irish mob in Boston and a Mexican drug cartel associated with the Venezuelans in the Girls Night Out episode. Needless to say, Nate is pulled into extricating Hurley -- once again putting his own life and that of the male side of the crew in danger. In the process, Nate takes an unwanted side trip to a church sponsored addiction support group and later poses as a priest. We get to see Hardison display his version of his aggressive side and also run like a little girl from auto impound guard dogs. Eliot backs up Hardison's foray into a bar filled with Mexican drug cartel heavies and hilariously hides his degree of involvement to let Hardison feel he has successfully intimidated the drug boss on his own by sheer force of his personality. Great time watching it!

One of the best series I have seen. There were a few bumps in the road in the beginning. But now it's one of the most well written, well acted, and original shows that I have seen. Whats great is that it is sort of comedy but then really really not. It has taken some of it's inspirations from old sixties and seventies spy shows like "Mission impossible", but in a loving way. It's witty, original, and truly one of the most fun and entertaining shows I've watched. And the characters are so unique and I'm completely attached to them. Also the episodes are great to re-watch: you always hear or see something new. Definitely watch. And season four is the best yet! :)

But don't ever make the mistake of thinking that because of it's comedic aspects that it is not a serious show. Very emotional, deep, and can be very contemplative. And the characters have allot of pain and sorrow in there past, and because of that, you always know that even when they are light hearted, they still have that past and have been broken many times.

The show also has allot of moral dilemmas that make you wonder whats right. Just like the slogan says, "Sometimes bad guys, make the best good guys".

But like the other reviewer says, the show can make you depressed because real life (I guess) isn't like this, and you want to be apart of the team and live that life. But I don't find that depression unique to this show, I have that problem all the time.

Don't pass this show up, it's fantastic. :)

Leverage is one of my favorite TV series. Its fast paced, realistic, and filled with action.. This season I laughed, I cried, and I chewed my fingernails to the stubs more than once. From undercover stings to reveal corruption to a search for a lost Van Gogh, there is always excitement waiting. Each episode is stand alone, so you don't have to see the other seasons to follow, but to get the full effect of the chemistry between the characters, it is best to watch them in order. This is one series that just keeps improving over time. You just can't go wrong with this DVD set.

Leverage is great I love this show and compared to most t.v. shows this has got a more creative outlook to the way the problems are created and solved. The characters are very diverse in the ways they think but they can agree on one thing and that is they want to help those that can't help themselves. The "mastermind" of the team Nathan 'Nate' Ford (Timmothy Hutton) with the help of genius hacker Alec Hardison (Aldis Hodge), colorfully adaptable to any situation "grifter" Sophie Deveraux (Gina Bellman), highly skilled, childlike, witty, and a little nutty "thief" Parker (Beth Riesgraf), and the loveable as well as smart however highly dangerous "Hitter" Eliot Spencer (Christian Kane) they set out to help the hopeless no matter how hard the job is. This Season four is packed full of adventure, highly anticipated and long awaited romances, and amazing cons that will make you root for the con men. So sit down and enjoy the ride because season four won't only knock the socks off your feet but it will also steal your wallet and jewelry too. These favorite five con men consisting of brains, grifter, hacker, hitter, and thief will have you begging for more so tell your family to keep track of their wallets because after you watch this show you are going to be trying to be just as awesome as the favorite five.
