I am a regular consumer of Levis jeans, specially the 527; in fact I own close to 12 of the 527 Jeans in different styles and colors, Levis is my preferred brand, they are stylish, the fabric is of excellent quality and they are available for a fair price.
Lately I really don't understand what is going on with their quality processes. I work for an apparel manufacturing company, so I know the different steps to sew a garment, and when you are having such wide variation on the different characteristics of a product is simply because your quality control processes are not in place or they are not functioning correctly.
I am writing this because I feel absolutely disappointed, a couple of months ago I bought the Levi's Young Men's 527 Low Rise Boot Cut Jean, Destructed Blue, 36x32 and it was almost 2 inches shorter than it is supposed to be. Now I purchased the Levi's Men's 527 Low Rise Boot Cut Jean With Back Pocket Treatment,Hot Blue,36x32 and the Levi's Men's 527 Low Rise Boot Cut Jean, Midnight Scraped, 36X32 and AGAIN, the same problem. I am furious because this represents a mayor inconvenience to anyone who purchases something and when you receive the item is not what it was meant to be. The worst thing is that I went to a local Levis store and bought the same pair of jeans (Midnight Scraped) and they perfectly fit, I don't know if this issue comes from Amazon or not. But it is no coincidence that happened 3 consecutive times.
I had to give the 3 Jeans to my shorter brother and at least I was able to get a partial refund for the price of the Jeans. I am sincerely thinking about never buying a pair of jeans over Amazon again.
The only jeans that were exactly the size and length that I purchased were the Levi's Men's 527 Low Rise Boot Cut Jean, Indie Blue, 36x32, which for me are the most versatile and comfortable Jeans of the 527 Levis Style.

Wow, I had to return these because they're so tight around the hips and groin! I ordered my usual size, but no way!

I'm 5'8 175 lbs and got the 32/30. they're "tight" on the right spots and comfortable. the boot cut is a little too big for my taste, but the color and fabric are nice. I would recommend. Also, fast shipping.

Levi's, Check. Dark Blue, Check. Boot cut, Check. Low Rise (have to have the right sized physique - read kind of small trunk), Check.

The all American standard jean. These are good heavy weight denim. Not nearly as faded in the front as the picture shows. The stitching is white and stands out a bit. The Levi's label is black.

Bottom line, they either fit you or they don't. If you've worn Levi's before and they fit; well here you go. If you are a wider load, then maybe look at Lucky Jeans or Kirkland.

The true about this pants, its just one> PERFECT JEANS, for every momment and place the beatiful color the better design and the excellent price become levi's the only brand i wear for my whole life. Thanks!

The pocket design was nice. The fabric quality seemed a bit cheap. My 514 was of a higher standard quality

Wash is great, jeans are great, size is almost one off. I know they are low rise but from crotch to belt line on these jeans they are pretty short (so a tight squeeze) if you know what I mean. Other wise I am a huge fan of levis especially there silver tab line as well.

I searched for these jeans on multiple sights once I couldn't find them in stores. Of course, Amazon had them! And at a great price. They were brand new, with tags and sealed in a levi's bag. Perfect!

I've tried designer (most recently Buffalo, which were poor quality), and I always come back to these. They are the best low-rise jeans in the world, IMO.

I haven't found jeans that beat Levi's for what you get for your money. Buying them from Amazon is generally pretty reasonable on price. The jeans have never failed on me in terms of quality. I wear these jeans with 6" boots, and they fit beautifully. The "low rise" part isn't anything scandalous, it just means you belt it around your hips. I found the 527 to be about perfect for what I want - can wear to work (construction) or to play.
