It's hard to find a good pair of jeans that will not empty your bank account. I like the designer look they have and the fit. I only buy bootcut jeans and these fit the bill. Highly recommend.

I received these jeans from Amazon.com yesterday, and they're great! I am wearing them today. They're true to size and fit as expected. Not too many suprises (fit wise) with Levi's. These jeans have great subtle-to-moderate extra details like the pictures show... but not over-done so they won't make you look like the heir to the Massengill fortune or anything, if you know what I mean. If you're trying to pull off the "dragon guy" look from the Budweiser commercials, these jeans are NOT for you... which is a GOOD thing in my personal opinion.

They're super soft, and being Levi's Silvertabs they should hold up pretty well from experience. Very well made and great initial quality. No stray strings or threads that I've found. Not ONE. I won't be putting them in the dryer, but rather hanging them to dry to extend their life (as I do with 60-70% of my jeans). I'm going to be able to dress these up or down from weekend t-shirts/sweatshirts to my expensive dress shirts I wear to work on weekdays. The boot cut works well with the "combat-style" boots I'm wearing them with today, but tried them with a fresh pair of Converse Leather Jacket Chuck Taylor's before I left the house... and they worked perfectly too. I don't personally wear cowboy boots like the model in the pictures, but if I did I'm thinking they'd look pretty sharp as well if you wanted to go that route.

Ordered them on Friday, and received on the following Monday via UPS (even though it was MLK Day, UPS doesn't observe as a Holiday), so SUPER FAST Shipping with Amazon Prime Free 2-Day Shipping. Highly recommended for anyone that loves Levi's like I do... but wants to change it up a bit from, say 550's, 569's, or 505's.

I bought a pair of these at the exact same time; Levi's Men's 559 Relaxed Straight Leg Jean - those 559's fit great.. these silvertabs are really tight around the thighs. They are also slightly longer, despite having the exact same size selection. Since they're boot cut they actually do fit okay length-wise if you're wearing boots (imagine that!). Just a heads up.

I mentally have named them my "70s pants" because they're fairly tight and have the flared boot cut.

tl;dr

- A bit tighter around the thighs than other Levis
- A bit longer than expected
- Length is acceptable if wearing boots
