I was certain that others would lampoon their aberrant style and materials. Yet I wore them to work and received many complements from my female co-workers, several of them using the word "sharp" to describe my appearance. Apparently I was haut.

More importantly, I like these pants because their simple yet refined appearance allows them to fit into many different clothing styles, as well as dress up or dress down. One could pull off a western cowboy style, punk rocker, hipster, vintage 70s, blue collar work wear, or office attire in these pants; their versatility in style makes makes them a great product.

They have a tight fit to them so if you don't like or don't good in this style, don't buy them.

These jean are great! They're stretch, skinny fit and are very comfortable, especially if you're stuck pn a plane for 10+ hours and look great when you arrive, not like you've slept in them (even if you have...). I like the crease, makes them look dressier than regular jeans, so if you need to go straight in to a meeting after a flight, you look very presentable. I also like how the colors don;t fade like regular colored denim. Yea, the tag says they're polyester, but who cares! I like how the look and fit!

Team it up with a mod shirt, your ready to go out that night too. (I actually like how they look with Chuck Taylors low top, very cool...), just wear them a size shorter than your regular jeans and the boot cut will sit right on top of you 'Cons

Nice jeans which fit well. 100% polyester and not the traditional material commonly associated with Levis. The chocolate color is a dark brown and very nice.

These pants are great, although made by Levi's they are nothing like Jeans. The look has something from a seventies design crossed with mod, if that's possible. And they are black as the night.
The only beef I have are the sizes. One would imagine that an inch is an inch. Other Levi's in size 32 or 33 fit just right but these were so tight I had to return them. Which wouldn't be big of a deal. What is a big of a deal is when I got my 34x34 and they fit just right and went on to order a pair of 34x34 in brown (chocolate) which are just as tight as the 33x34. I can't really wear them at all.
I wonder how two pants of the same size can differ so much from each other? They are a bit long, too, which looked funny and they got caught under the heels of my shoes sometimes. I hemmed them with fabric glue.
Other than that I love 'em and would recommend them to anybody who is tired of jeans jeans jeans as they are cool for going out AND dressing up.

Amazon was the only source I could find for the exact make and style I was looking for. It also had the only exact fit in size that I have been hunting all over for. The price was very good and the free shipping saved me more. Based on the reviews here, I ordered the pants one size larger than usual (I'm a 30") and the fit was perfect (not snug around thighs). The only thing I hated is the fabric. Its really tough and kinda itchy.

These pants look great on the butt and legs, but too tight on the waist. I buy all of my levis jeans for my husband on Amazon size 42x32 and this is the first time I have had this problem... I would recommend buying one size up for a bigger guy.

I love Levi's 517 jeans, so these twill pants were a no-brainer. The part that offers some thought, though, is the correct sizing. We all know that jeans fit very differently than regular trousers. When you have a pant that's a cross between the two, finding the right fit is a bit tricky. I originally ordered them in a size 32" waist (my usual size in these). However, they were way too tight without any draping. In the end I had to go up two sizes to a 34" waist. Then they finally draped the way a normal pant should.

These pants are the prefect cross between dressy/casual, retro/contemporary, stylish/comfortable. Give em a try for something different!

Just opened the package and not too sure how I feel about these pants yet. They fit well and feel fine, just like the 514 Levi's, but the polyester isn't terribly attractive. They're reminiscent of the Dickies that a high school janitor might wear. I'm sure there's plenty of people who can pull it off though. I suppose we'll see...

A few years ago Levi's released these exact pants but as 514s, the slim fit. They were WAY! better and I hope they bring them back in that style. The 517s fit so awkward. But the twill was an awesome idea. I pull them off as dress pants at work but still get that jean comfort fit. They are amazing pants but as 514s!!!!
