Levi's 512 Misses Perfectly Slimming Boot Cut Jean with Tummy Slimming Panel, Medium, 10 Medium

I'm a hard size to fit, so when I get something, I want it in all colors. Unfortunately, after a lot of money spent, I've discovered that what country the Levis were made in makes a big difference in the length, shrinkage, etc. So if you find a pair from Pakistan that fits beautifully, stay with that country, not just the number.

I bought a pair of blue Levi's 512 Perfectly Slimming jeans about a year ago and they fit perfectly - they are my favorite jeans, so when I saw them available in black I thought it was a sure fit. Unfortunately, even though I ordered the same size, what I got was much looser fit (and much too long). I washed them several times to shrink them and they have improved enough to keep them, but they are far from the same fit that my earlier pair was.

I LOVE these jeans! Since I am no longer a skinny teenager, I was having trouble finding jeans that fit, flattered and were COMFORTABLE. These really filled the bill. I have 3 pair of regular length for wearing with flats and 2 longer length pairs to wear with heels. I hope Levi's never stops making them. Just wish them came in more colors.

These were just delivered to my door step a few minutes ago. I don't think I've ever been so relieved after trying on a pair of jeans! I'm the person who dreads trying jeans on because it's so rare to have a pair fit me! Usually they're too tight around the thighs or too tight around the waist, too long and too low-rise and it's just a disaster and so depressing. I'm telling you, the minute I tried them on, I was in disbelief. They fit perfectly. I can't tell you how happy it makes me to finally be able to put on a pair of jeans and feel comfortable in them! I was worried before they arrived, that they would be too straight in the leg. I like a bit of a flare. I think a bit of a flare helps detract from my larger thighs. These have a perfect amount of flare! And I love the fact that they cover just enough of my belly to hide the postpartum muffin top and extra belly I've acquired--super great! I am 5'4" and I ordered them in "short". I would say they are perfect because they are just a tad long, but not too long that I couldn't wear them with flat shoes, and yet they are perfect with heels as well. They have just enough stretch to move with you so that you don't feel constricted at all. I ordered the "shadow blue" and they are a dark wash but I really like them. I think I"ll order a pair in the medium indigo as well. Also, the ones I received are made in Pakistan, just in case anyone wonders. If you are in the valley of indecision, I would say, you really just need to go ahead and order yourself a pair! I apologize for the long review, but maybe someone else will be as happy as I am!

2 days later...my review may have been a bit premature. I still love the jeans, but found that after wearing them for an afternoon, they stretched so much that I was able to pull them off without unbuttoning or unzipping them! They became a bit baggy on me. I like them so much though, that I'm returning them and ordering a size smaller. Check back to see how THOSE fit!

i BOUGHT MY WIFE TWO PAIRS OF THESE JEANS FOR CHRISTMAS THIS YEAR, THE ONLY DIFFERENCE WAS COLOR. ON ARRIVAL THEY WERE NO WHERE NEAR THE SAME JEANS. THE DARK PAIR FIT THE WAY THE AD READ, THE LIGHT PAIR FIT LIKE RELAX FIT JEANS. WHAT POOR QUALITY CONTROL THIS COMPANY MUST HAVE IF JEANS IN A CATEGORY WE BUY CAN NOT BE COUNTED ON TO BE THE SAME. THIS IS DISAPPOINTING AT THE VERY LEAST.

these jeans fit great! room in the hips, waist doesn't gap. The only problem I have is they are too long for me - at 5'4'' they are about 2 - 3 inches too long. But they are so comfortable, I don't mind the length.

I was so excited about the way the 512 fitted me. They slimmed my silouhette down by 10 lbs until they lost elasticity and sagged just after the first wash. Very disappointing.

I had both these size 512 Levi jeans before and loved them. They must have changed production places. The two new pair I received were different sizes, even though marked the same size and type and nothing like the quality of my original purchase. I do not recommend purchase on line. Go try them on. The changes in production are very large. I was very disappointed.

I had the same problem with different sizing - I bought a pair of medium blue in 6L, they fit great. Then I ordered a pair in 'dark', also 6L, and they fit like a FULL SIZE SMALLER. I had even put the first ones in the dryer, and the dark blue ones are an inch smaller in the waist, and the thighs much tighter. I'm returning them, and trying the next size up...we'll see.

These jeans fit extremely well. They are both comfortable and slimming. The inseam, which is longer than most jeans, is welcomed since I'm 5'7. I gave the jeans 4 stars because the bootcut could have been designed better. These jeans give more of the appearance of being straight leg - with just more leg room at the calve, rather than a bell shape at the bottom - which is just a personal preference of mine. Would highly recommend them all the same. Sits nicely at the waist - and they've washed great without shrinking as well.
