The other reviews are absolutely accurate--these run small. I have other pairs of Levi's in a size 4 (regular sizing, not petite). I sized up to a 6 in these, and they are still a little on the snug side. Some of that is related to the 'perfect waist', which has elastic. It does eliminate gaping, which is great, but it also keeps the waistline very snug!

Though a bit tighter than I'm used to, these jeans look great. I purchased the Sanded dark color, which looks very polished. The rise is just right--not too low, not too high. And the length is great (I'm 5'2").

I loved these jeans so much that I bought a second pair in petite size for my shorter heels and for some reason these jeans fit way tighter in the waist and hips and I have to go up a size whereas the non-petite version of these same jeans fit perfect and are very comfy.

Nice pair of jeans, but the waist is too small for the size I ordered. I'm a 12, but the waist fit like a 8-10.

I just received my jeans and tried them on right away. I had purchased a size that fit the same as a pair I bought in a dept. store and the ones I ordered on Amazon.com were totally sized wrong. They were too way too tight and fit like a different pair of Levi's that I have that are 4 sizes smaller. Somebody goofed big time sending me a crappy pair of jeans that runs several sizes smaller than advertised. Highly dissapointed and I will return them. What a waste of time and money thank you very much.

If your like me: small on the top and extremely curvy on the bottom. You will love these jeans. This is definitely an option for us curvy girls.

I agree with the vast majority of posts I read before buying these jeans....The petite lengths run SMALL! So, if you normally wear a size 2, buy a size 4. They have some spandex in them, but they are very stiff and rigid. The color of the jean, as shown on-line, is really accurate. It's a nice dark wash that can be dressed up with a pair of pumps and a nice sweater/blouse or dressed down with a nice pair of flats. The quality of the jean is nice, but the snugger sizing can make you feel awkward when you try them on. Also, the "Perfect Waist" feature is perfect if you don't like those weird gaps in the back of your pants. However, if you can "pinch more than an inch" in your midsection, I'd advise against these....You will end up with a muffin-top.

I ordered these jeans after reading all the reviews. I typically wear a 10, but ordered a 12 because reviews said the petites run small. I was worried they would be too big, but was surprised to find they are actually snug! The waist does not gap. I have been wearing them for a few hours, and they seem to be keeping their shape very well in the rear (I hate it when pants sag in the rear after wearing them 10 minutes!). I am 5'3", and the hem just brushes the floor. Tummy slimming panel is a nice feature, and does help some. Overall, I'm happy with my purchase. All my favorite jeans are Levis!

Here's another great fitting and feeling pair of petite jeans from Levi's, not too low but also not too high waisted and just the right length to be worn with flats or a bit of a heel when you're 5' to 5'2" short.

Perfect for petites. I'm 5'3 and bought a size 10. In most jeans I wear a size 6. I have a small waist and a round butt. In regular Levis I wear an 8 because of it. These sit higher on my waist and I could have fit the 8 if I wanted a tighter look, but I'm digging the relaxed feel as I'm using these as work jeans.

They run really small. I usually wear a 6 petite. Ordered the 8 petite, sent them back in exchange for the 10 petite which fits perfect. I love the look, and they are really comfy. I was concerned that they might look like a cowgirl, being levi's, but I really love them.
