When I was a kid, my dad had a jacket like this. Only his was made from real suede, and had a silky satin lining. This is sort of a cross between the traditional trucker jacket with a touch of old school nostalgia. I like it. How good is it? I'm still waiting to find out. Mine was a gift during the holidays. As soon as I got it, a friend "borrowed" it. She kept it for the last 3 months, and I just got it back now that winter is over. If I get to wear it next winter, I'll find out how warm it is or isn't. If you actually want to own a jacket that you'll wear, don't get this one. Some girl will steal it from you and you'll never get to wear it yourself.

This is a really sharp looking jacket for the money paid. The workmanship is a bit sloppy, with the white faux shearing visible against the brown fabric at some of the seams, but overall it's a really nice jacket.

As the other reviews mentioned, the jacket runs a bit small (Which was fine for me). If you're looking for a close fit, you can probably order your normal size, but if you're a borderline size, you should order up.

The jacket is surprisingly thin, but does a great job of insulating. You'll need warm clothing underneath, mind you, but the jacket blocks wind and rain remarkably well. I wear a hooded sweatshirt underneath the jacket, and that combination is almost always sufficient for even the coldest of weather in Boston.

It's a great looking, highly practical jacket, and is definitely a steal at the sub-$50 Amazon usually sells it at.

Styling of the jacket is nice, but it fits just a little too tight around the upper arms, chest and shoulders. The manufacturer should have added a little more material in those spots. Which may explain why it was selling for $60 instead of the full retail price of $160...

As a previous reviewer noted, this jacket does run a bit smaller than one would expect. (But I think this is true of Levi's in general.) Otherwise, it's a very handsome jacket.

I bought this jacket for my husband for Christmas - ordered a size XL, which is what he always wears. It was quite a bit too small when he tried it on! It's a nice jacket, but beware - it does run smaller than normal sizing, and doesn't come larger than an XL.

This jacket was purchased for my 15-year old grandson in dark brown. He literally wouldn't even take it off to be sent to the cleaners. Besides being warm and otherwise just perfect, it was considered "extremely cool." I therefore bought him another just like it in the lighter color (which, by the way, is much darker than is shown in the picture). He thinks he is now set for life and doesn't even want to consider another kind of jacket. These jackets were completely successful purchases, and you know how hard it is to buy clothes for a teenager.
