It is important to note that I hate to shop and I am very hard to fit into a pair of any pants, let alone jeans. I am 6'4", 260 lbs. The right jean has to have a normal waist, plenty of room in the rear and thighs, and be long enough. Stores never seem to have the right fit and/or size I need. I was skeptical when I made this purchase because I had never tried these on before, but the description was exactly what I needed (Baggy fit 40 x 34). Normally I have to buy a jean with a bigger waist than I really need just to make sure the rear and thighs are big enough, but then I usually sacrafice length (usually stores only sell 32" length and not the 34" length). I made this purchase solely based on other customer reviews on this product. This had a very high rating and customers seem to really like these jeans. I am now a believer!! These are the best fitting jeans I have ever owned...PERIOD!! The wear is yet to be determined. If any of you guys have a hard time finding jeans that fit thicker thighs without having a huge waist (usually athletes or former athletes who have developed mass from lifting) then this is the perfect jean!! I hated spending $50+ for a pair of jeans at specialty big and tall stores. This is the answer!! Thanks Levi's for still making a jean that fits real men!!

The old Silver Tab Levi's were the only jeans my husband would wear. We had to buy used ones on eBay for a while, but now have found these new ones. The style is very close, not quite as baggy as the old style, but still make him happy.

I purchased these pants with the hope that they were just like the original silver tab baggies I purchased years ago. Not even close. The pants (I ordered 3 of them) all fit differently. They are cut too short in the "crotch" area and are therefore not as comfortable as the originals. They are also way too long. So if you normally order 34 inseam, you need to order the next size down. But I guess when you realize how lousy quality control is these days, with all our products manufactured overseas, then just remember.....Buyer beware!

I've always had a problem finding jeans that fit my large thighs comfortably and these are the best fit by far. I highly recommend these.

I first purchased a black pair and they looked brand new, unused. I then order one of each of the other three colors. I was disappointed that all of the other three colors were factory distressed at various levels. They look like well used jeans that one would find at a thrift store. All three shows stringy frayed hems and the worst pair had been so distressed on the thighs that the material was thin and looked like there would be open holes after a few washings. This was not mentioned at all in the description. I returned all three pairs and had to pay for return shipping.

If you want brand new looking jeans, purchase the black rinse color only.

I went to Macys to see what I could find Silvertabs locally and was suprised to see distressed is the new look at they were selling worst looking jeans at Macys! Ahhh youth.. unfortunately I'm too old to wear jeans that look this worn.

Definitely not the same jeans sold at the mall. Paper thin material, back pockets were so "worn" the stitching was threadbare at top of pockets and around the pantleg cuffs. Not satisfied. After washing, scrinkage occurred. That didn't happen with my other pair of real silver tabs. I would have returned if I didn't have to pay for shipping. Saving them for yardwork.

The new baggy jeans are just that NEW. They dont fit the way the old style did. They are however as comfortable as you expect a pair of silvertabs to be. They are durable and look good too. Yes they are not all exactly the same. Some are a little bigger or smaller. I have never found any jeans that are exactly the same for every single one. No local stores carry them so I was happy when I found these on amazon. Give them a try and see if you like them if not you still get it cheaper than regular dept store prize.

The color and fit were great, and the price was outstanding. I ride road and mountain bikes as well as weight-train, so I have problems with fit and normally revert to wearing shorts. These jeans fit my legs much better than any other that I've worn. If you're athletic (smaller waist, bigger thighs and gluts), these are the jeans for you.

Got these a couple of weeks ago and was trying them on for the first time this morning to make sure they fit. These are definitely counterfeit and not worth wearing. Denim quality is very poor and thin. Stitching, color of stitching, and labeling is not that of authentic Levi Silvertabs. These have got to go back.

I've worn levis since I was a kid...the quality and look is still among the best, even up against the flood of jeans that cost 10 times more...
