Simply put, my wife loves the way my butt looks in these jeans!
They fit me well, I have a hard time finding ones that fit well in the leg, waist, crotch, and butt. They are a little snug around the waist for their waste size, but for someone who is between sizes it is great! Wish they had a few more color options, and was priced a little lower.

I've not bought a pair of silver tabs in years, 569's are my first choice (which are a loose fit). The reason I gave 3 stars instead of 5 is they don't fit like loose fit jeans (-1 star) and they have a lower cut waist (-1 more). They fit more like 559's which are a relaxed fit, but sit low on the hips and have a tendency to crowd in the crotch and expose crack when seated. The low cut waist is probably the biggest difference in fit when compared to my old loose fit tabs I bought 10 or 11 years ago (yes, I still have and wear them), and the biggest drawback to these pants.

Second hand jeans?,

Purchased two pairs of the Halogen color and upon receipt it appeared as if the jeans had been passed through multiple retail outlets and/or been purchased and previosuly returned.
On the back waistband where tags were applied there were mutiple little holes where it had appeared the jeans had been tagged, retagged and then tagged again over time. I kept them, but can't help but wonder where exactly these jeans had been and whether they were truly a new pair of jeans I had purchased at regular prices (I only purchased them online because it is difficult to find my size in retail locations - I wear 38 x 36).

Smal hole in rear pocket is part of the style,
This review is from: Levi's Men's Silvertab Loose Fit Jean (Apparel)
I can't say I like the hole much myself but I bought these pants at retail and every pair had the same stylized small hole in the rear pocket (as well as a few other wear areas). So the rear pocket holes are not Amazon's fault they are part of the style (if you can call it that). I really like the jeans, but they only lasted about a year for me because a wear mark on the leg turned into a hole. I'm still going to buy them again because I haven't found too many that I like better for fit and color.

Positive: Awesome color shade of blue. Very stylish.
Negative: The legs are too long. Younger guys may appreciate this, but for me, I don't like dragging them on the dirt (or when raining).

I started to wear the Silver Tab jeans about 5 years ago and really like the fit. The material feels closer to the classic 501 but has a sort of updated look. Very comfortable to wear to work. Great price for a relatively hard to find style which I understand may be discontinued. I still like the look and feel of this jean. Great value.

I bought a pair of size 40 waist and size 38 length because I have a hard time getting jeans that fit around my big legs and I can't find that size in stores. These were also a little tight on the quad and crotch area, but they seem pretty durable. I would say they are just "ok".

I just got my pants in the mail just now. I was excited and turned out to be disappointed. In the picture the halogen pants look like there is a white streak on the pants like i have on a pair of southpole pants i wear, but they are not on there like that at all. just regular blue jeans with a hint of a bit of a glaze. the waist i kinda loose even when it fits. these are not as nice as the other pair of loose jeans i bought from them that are perfect at the waist and loose everywhere else.

I love these jeans, my wife likes them even more. Very relaxed and comfortable. Plenty of room for a big man like me. First pair of jeans I had ever bought online, and I will be buying more of them. I hate having to go into stores and try on jeans. I got super lucky that these fit and fit well. For some reason they also bring attention to your junk, my wife is always walking by me now and grabbing my stuff. She says the jeans make "it"jump out at her.

When I received these jeans (just before Christmas) and tried them on I was very happy; they were perfect fitting and looked great. I was looking forward to them being my new favorite pair of jeans for 2010. However after a few wears and a couple washes, the jeans already have developed a bunch of tears on the back side that pretty much make them unwearable in public (unless you don't mind everyone behind you seeing your boxers). For reference, I have an office job and I'm generally pretty lazy so I don't do much manual labor; so these jeans tore simply from being washed a couple times (i.e. they didn't get torn from me wearing them while rebuilding a car engine or framing a new house or something like that.) The only reason I gave them 2 stars is because they looked real good for a couple weeks... otherwise they wouldn't have gotten any stars.
