This is a great night light for Palm lovers. It is LED they last a LONG TIME and they stay cool to the touch so when you need to unplug and move your not in fear of laying it down. Only downfall is it is missing a On at dusk and Off at Dawn sensor. Aside from having to unplug every morning I love the glow it gives...we never turn on the light in the middle of the night for those midnight triup we need to make to the potty with the kids. VERY BRIGHT and GREAT LOOKING Guest have asked me where to get one.

This is a cute nightlight and great for a beach or tropical themed room. The green could be brighter!

I love it! Lasts forever. Had to buy 4 more as gifts for family who asked, "Where did you get that?"

I am happy to have after much searching found this particular night light. I had originally purchased it at Wal Mart in Panama City Beach, Florida in 2008, then when visiting a friend that year, she fell in love with it, therefore, I left it with her thinking I could get another one on my return trip to Panama City Beach, Florida. When my friend received other company, they too wanted it. She would not give it to them, however, she said she would try to get some from me thinking I would not have a problem doing so, how wrong that thought was. I searched in vain, frustrated, I decided to try amazon and found them easily. Yee Haa!

My only complaint is they back ordered on of the six I requested and it cost me an additional $5.00 for shipping. I would have preferred to have waited seeing it was only one day indifference.

I plan to continue shopping with amazon.

I agree with the other reviewer that this nightlight may be a little too much light. It's very beautiful especially if you love palm trees. I do believe the palm trees could have been longer or something that would contain the light to just the palm trees.

Ok - price point this is an inexpensive light, better than most in this value range, and actually reasonable to look at. The down-side for me was that the light more projects out from the base (creating streaks of green up the wall) than "glowing" - which is what I was hoping for.

That said, it works, it's not too expensive, and it is LED, so the poor rating is more to do with my personal feelings towards it than any true product defect. Maybe better suited to a student dorm than a night light for a child.

Hey folks, I just bought 3 different styles of Leviton LED night lights; Leviton 49568-BLU Blue Flame LED, the Leviton 49563-ECO Eco Leaf Green LED Night Light, and this one, the Palm Tree.

By far, the Palm Tree is my favorite! It's much brighter, larger, and nicer looking than the others. I like the Green Leaf too but I was most disappointed with the Blue Flame. (which I expected to like the most) It's just kinda boring by comparison.

Keep in mind that these LED night lights are power savers and there's no bulb to ever need replacing. They only use .5 watts of power, which is probably why a photo sensor is not needed (off during daytime) for such a small power drain.
- average household electricity cost = 5 cents per month or 60 cents per year (running 24 hours a day)
- compare: coffee maker warmer plate: 900 watts = 1,800 palm trees lit) lol

I'm obviously happy and it's perfect for a master bath or hallway. It is however probably too bright for a bedroom. I would recommend this Palm Tree without a second thought.

I have given several of these nightlights as gifts.
Everyone loves them. We have plenty of palm trees near the coast here in FL.
It is very bright as mentioned but that is a good thing in a dark space.
