Used it with blank wall outlet cover to run romex through wall to plasma tv. The holes do not line up with any outlet covers...so you will have to drill to make it fit.

This unit did the job I was looking to do but it did not fit a standard hole size. The unit requires a 1-7/8 inch hole to mount securely. I was not able to find a hole saw of that size at either of the major home improvement outlet chains in the area. Neither could I find an electrical cover plate that would work with this size. The flange is narrow and does not allow for securing it in a 2 inch diameter hole. I had to drill a smaller hole and file it out to make the unit fit. It would help if the hole size specification was part of the product offering.

I used this in a waterproof box on the outside of my house as a generator input. That way I don't have to run an extension cord thru a door or window. Only found it at Amazon. Thanks Amazon!
